Great cable

Good for the price. Im using it to lock up a boat at a reservoir and it works fine. Plenty long enough to lock onto a tree. Also heavy enough to deter someone from stealing the boat unless they really want to, in which case no heavier cable is going to deter them, they will cut through anything if they really want to. I dont find very many steal small rowboats around here, its way too much trouble for very little gain. They are far more likely to smash a boat in which case a lock and cable wouldnt stop them.

Cable cords work but are stiff when first opened and a little hard to work with. Make sure to buy a lock that is large enough for the loop end.

Nice length of sturdy cable for locking items in my covered truck bed. Used this on a cross country trip to secure my 2 generators and spare propane tank in my truck bed. The bed is covered with an aluminum bed cover, so my gear is out of sight. Anyone who wanted to steal my stuff could mangle the bed cover and cut the cable, but thieves tend to not steal what they dont see. And you wouldnt rip open the cover and cut the cable without me and the dog knowing it.

One thing to know, this isnt for Sketchy areas and most certainly, not over night areas. Its for locking your bike up when you want to go to a store, or the bathroom... Its better than nothing ... thats for sure... For me, I dont think I could carry enough locks in my bag, to feel 100% comfortable... So I put my bike on my insurance policy. Peace of mind. Personally, I use mine when camping at the campgrounds in a state or federal park, I loop it around/underneath one of the tires... then snake it through the frame and lock up the seat as well. Its just peace of mind. 9 times out of ten no one is walking around with bolt cutters to take your bike in a campground. Pros, seems heavy duty, cables has a nice thick rubber so it wont scratch your bike or rust, loops are wide enough for the ends to pass through it. its 15 feet... relatively cheap and easy to carry... long enough to lockup both tires, seat and whatever to a non removable object tree, etc...etc... with room to spare! Cons, not secure as a U-Lock, kinda heavy... Is it better than a U-Lock? Absolutely not! However, you really need to think about where you CAN use a U-Bolt type lock. If there are no bike racks a U-bolt is useless. You have to access your risks. How sketchy is the area you are locking your bike up... How long will you be locking your bike up. If you are EVERYDAY biker that has a routine, like a job ... Where everyday Mon-Fri, you always lock your bike up for 8 hours a day... Or go shopping for hours... or parking it overnight in a public garage ....Then YES! Get a U-BOLT Lock! As for me, I travel to different areas and dont have a routine ... nore do I leave my bike (unattended) for hours. So, I think this lock is good enough for me! ANY lock can be cut, Its just making a bike thief try a little harder..and lets face it... if a thief wants your bike he/she is going to get it! I hate to say it. If your bike is worth more than 2500 bucks, consider getting theft insurance. I lock mine up with an all weather A-bus 701B lock. Get a decent lock, the last thing you want is a lock that freezes up and you got to leave your bike to find a way to cut though your own lock! Buy lock lubricants and clean them often to keep them working good. Get a weather lock especially if your bike doesnt have fenders! Also, consider not getting a huge heavy lock so you can lock it up to an easy to cut cable. So, pretty much any lock will work... as a thief wont will go after the weakest link. Buying a 80 dollar lock for a cable lock isnt going to make it more secure.

Works just fine for what I need it to. Makes me feel like my crap won’t get stolen as easily out of the bed of my truck.

Got three of these to secure tires, a race kart and stand to an open trailer. These cables are a great match. Had the trailer out in the rain and on the road and the plastic coating has zero signs of wear in a month of heavy use and being left in the elements. I might get another one to lock my gate when were away for the weekends.
