> 3 dayPurchased to secure my kayak closer to the boat dock when out camping, and I was surprised by how thick the cable was. I almost went for a larger size and Im glad I didnt. Worked perfect and the length was great.

19-04-2025I like how heavy. The ends are fairly big if you need them to go through any holes, but works fine. Im using it to lock a spare tire on a trailer tongue.

> 3 dayI needed a decent length cable to go with my 4 bike hitch carrier. While, as others have noted, any cable can be cut, this one will take some work. The cable is pretty stout to the point of being a bit difficult to maneuver. Still, once in place, it gives a good solid feel and the casing that protects the steel cable appears pretty thick and I expect it to hold up well.

> 3 dayProviding security for your bike is like anything else, there are risks and trade offs. This product provides a decent level of security while at the same its not too heavy of bulky to carry and stow away. If I were securing my bike in a high crime area I would probably opt for something more heavy duty but for most normal areas such as a college campus this locking solution will keep you bike safe. Its long enough to secure to most posts going through the frame and the front wheel although it might be tough to secure two bikes at once if you are riding with a partner that does not have a lock. The bottom line is you cant go wrong with the Master Lock 85DPF as its well made and has a really nice weather resistant coating.

> 3 dayBought this product to lock my 4-wheeler down while at deer camp, while I am back at the office working during the week. Bolt cutters would have a harder time with this cable than with a chain, and this is coated so it wont rust. Great product.

> 3 dayI bought this to lock up my two kayaks on a long trip. The lock is bendable enough to go through two kayaks and the Yakima big sticks. Cant say anything about the ability to break or cut this, but it definitely makes the kayaks look well protected. I have also used it to look up my bike. Due to its ability to bend, this lock is very versatile. Im very satisfied with the purchase.

> 3 dayNo cable is going to save your bike from theft but this one is as good as any other Ive used in the past. Its a fairly heavy gauge cable so it might give a criminal shopping for a bike second thoughts about getting through it before being noticed. Because the cable is thick it is a bit inflexible but thats the tradeoff.
