This is just a simple braided cable so there isnt much to describe, but it is well assembled and looks professionally made. We are using it as a poor mans cable lock in the back of a pick-up truck rather than pay the dealer a few hundred dollars for the same thing. For that, it works perfectly and coils up nicely under the seat when not being used. The plastic wrap around the cable makes it much nicer than bare cable. It was a good deal from amazon.

I’m using this to secure my patio furniture, and 15ft sounds like a lot, but it was just long enough to tie all three pieces together as well as secure them to my porch post. This does not keep a coil shape (which I’m really, really happy about), so it surprised me when it practically burst out of its packaging once I cut all the zip ties! It also goes really well with my black furniture and isn’t unsightly at all. Having this makes me feel more relaxed about leaving my furniture out on my back porch.

Pro: This rope is tough and wrapped in soft stuff so there is no scratching or scuffing. People wont waste any time attacking it with clippers or saws or tugging or any smash and grab tactic. Con: It is heavy, but not too heavy. It is short (15 feet), but not so short you cant wind it around your stuff two or three time so everyone gets the idea, Dont get so busy that you cant run for it! If you know the difference between discretion and valor, grab a hank!

Its thicker than I expected. Id give 5 stars if it is more flexible.

I like how heavy. The ends are fairly big if you need them to go through any holes, but works fine. Im using it to lock a spare tire on a trailer tongue.

I bought this to lock up my two kayaks on a long trip. The lock is bendable enough to go through two kayaks and the Yakima big sticks. Cant say anything about the ability to break or cut this, but it definitely makes the kayaks look well protected. I have also used it to look up my bike. Due to its ability to bend, this lock is very versatile. Im very satisfied with the purchase.
