I typically love this brand, but for some reason this leash did not last.

I purchased the leash in preparation for my upcoming adoption of a rescue dog. The quality of the stitching, the sturdiness of the materials, and the overall feel of the leash impressed me. it also impressed my friend, who then went and ordered his own. I also purchased the martingale collar, and am equally impressed with the feel and quality of it. Based on the construction, I expect this will last a long time, and am eagerly looking forward to using it for many years to come. I also appreciate the companys philosophy, and will be recommending the rescue group Im working with to be a recipient of their donations. It ticks all the boxes - looks good, feels good, well-made, and from a company that supports rescue groups they way I do.

I purchased the 6’ leash for my dog Harry. Harry is part French mastiff and part golden retriever. He is 138 pounds! I needed a sturdy well made leash. This 2 handled leash is perfect!!! The clasp on it is a good sturdy metal and the width of the leash is perfect. I also like the padded handles! The fact that a leash is donated to a rescue also inspired me to purchase this leash! Now a rescue dog also has an awesome leash!

I walk dogs at Austin Pets Alive - we use 4 foot leashes so we can maintain a safe distance from other dogs, and 4 foot isnt that easy to find. The padded handle is comfortable when you have a puller, and the secondary loop makes a working walk or keeping a reactive dog close easy. It even has a handy loop to clip my leash to itself, as we wear them across our shoulders in between dogs. I will be ordering another one - I wanted to make sure I liked it before I did - I have a lot of leash fails....

This is a great leash. In addition to the fact that the company will donate one to a shelter for each one purchased, the reason we buy this leash (weve had two so far, dog is a serious chewer) is for the second handle. Unlike most leashes with a second handle, this one is actually placed really conveniently. I am 56 and can hold the second handle naturally with the dog at my side with a little slack -- perfect for traffic, or other dogs approaching (ours is aggressively friendly). Its also brightly colored and has good reflectors stitched right in.

I have a 65 lb lab retriever who I got from the rescue when he was already two and a half years old. This puppy has a gigantic prey drive. It will even chase after cars and even try to chase after helicopters. Having the leash with its extra handle for control has been imperative in keeping him close. Its a great purchase and I wish I found it sooner

Could have gone with a shorter leash. The 6.5 foot is a little bit too much forgiveness for walking my dog. I just grab the second handle & all’s well!

Not as heavy duty or resistant to chewing attacks as the Primal Pet Gear dog leash with handles... Amazons best seller, which I ordered as a replacement. All around quality leash, but my big Lab, in the first outing sawed it twice...it was leading my medium sized dog. Due to sever-age damage it had to be discarded as unsafe...not up to the task of daily walks.

I have a 65 pound pit bull who loves to pull... and it’s a super strong Leash; never have to worry about it breaking. He also likes to play tug a war with the leash and still hasn’t broken!!! Only leash I will honestly trust. Also I love the short handle too easy to grab when other dogs are passing by. NO ROPE BURN on your hands either.

This is the best leash Ive bought. Its very durable, it washes well, and the double handle allows me to have more control when my doggo goes berserk over people running by with other dogs. My trainer suggested it. I would definitely recommend this leash.
