This is my second one of these leashes. My dog chewed up the first one and its almost about to break. My suggestion is to take it off after walks and do not leave it anywhere where your dog can get it. I noticed from personal experience that dogs seem to like nylon material. It is quite sturdy and soft on hands at the same time. I have a large 95 lbs female German shepherd and although she does not pull me as much as she would pull my kids or my parents but when she sees other dogs, boy! She can pull really hard:) This leash was great until one day we left it on and my dog worked on it all day and made a tear in it.

Great for holding dog close in building elevator then using longer lead when time to do her business.

The extra, lower handle on this leash is SO helpful with dogs who pull. It gives more control and I feel like I have a better hold on my pup. It quickly became my favorite leash and I will never use a different one again!

Leash is sturdy, a good length, and it supports a good cause. What’s not to like.

I had a leather leash that I loved until my dog ran into a lake with it, and it became hard and rough to hold onto. In deciding on a replacement, I chose to try this one based on the neoprene handles - as well as the secondary handle close to the clasp. I love it! I have two German Shepherds - and only one is properly loose leash trained so far. The untrained one is 80 pounds and stubborn, but both the strength and second handle on this leash make it easy to train him. I love that Max and Neo supports rescues, and all of their products Ive used so far are very high quality at an affordable price!

I’ll start by saying that I love that Max & Neo donate to animal shelters with every purchase. Secondly, this leash is highly reflective, and has a comfortable padded double handle which makes walking my dog (Belgian Malinois) much nicer and helps with control. I have purchased previously and have only reordered since my dog loved to chew on it while I would be driving and was secured in the back seat but I have since rectified that issue and now put her in a crate away from her leash so it lasts longer. This is the only leash I will ever purchase and love that it comes in a variety of colors as well.all my dogs have assigned colors and that makes it convenient when grabbing for their leash. Highly recommend!

This leash is great! The handles are padded, and having the traffic handle helps control our Pitty when passing other animals or people. It also has a D ring to hold the poop bags.

Works well with the new harness I got for my dog. Well constructed.
