This leash is really good quality and I love the padding in the handles! Very comfortable to hold. The reflective threading is also a nice touch. I’ve had the leash for a couple months now and it still looks brand new.

The best part about this leash, aside from the donation pledge, is the traffic handle. I don’t have to use it that often but it’s great in busy areas when I can’t predict the surroundings. I like how both handles are padded and comfortable to hold for long periods of time, even when my dog pulls a bit. It’s a very durable leash that has held its own over the past year. I’ll be buying another one next time I need a replacement leash.

We have been using Max and Leo leashes for several years—they last that long! I like the traffic loop since we live in a big city; it makes crossing the street much safer.

This leash is fantastic. I have a Saint Bernard so as you might imagine I needed something solid and well made, this leash fits the bill. I especially love the secondary handle pull it has come in handy more times than I could have imagined. The padded handles both upper and lower ones are a very nice touch and my hands are not as tired as before after our hour walks in the morning. You will not be disappointed buying this or the collar (Reviewed under the collar purchase.) Last thing the poopy bag holder is awesome and sturdy but I really wish the tag holder had also been made out the same thing as what is there for the tag is not great. UPDATE: Sadly my Saint Bernard shredded his first one reviewed above, so I was happy with the leash and collar and decided to order again, the collar came in just fine however the leash not so much. I ordered it by finding the original order and clicking on it to order again, the only change made was color from orange to red to match the new collar. Got the leash and collar and the collar is exactly the same but the leash is not only smaller in width but also the cushion on the handle is no where near as padded as the first one I got. I came back here to Amazon to report this but could find nowhere to contact the seller so I asked a question that was never answered about why the leash was so different from the first one. Needless to say I am VERY disappointed and will not buy again unless someone from the company contacts me and makes this right!

I received one when I rescued my Maggie. She chewed it on the way home from the shelter! Now I have two dogs so I just bought two more. I love the dual handles and reflective threads.

This is the second leash I have purchased from Max and Neo. The first was a six foot which for city sidewalks and a big dog is a little too long. Folding it and wrapping it up to keep the dog close becomes cumbersome. So the four-foot length is ideal. Aside from the notable practices of this company, the one for one donation, I am as equally impressed with the quality of the item. The leashes are sturdy, durable, and really comfortable to hold given the thickness of the nylon. In the cold weather, the material does not cut or chafe your skin like other thinner nylon or web materials do. I have recommended this item to friends and neighbors and will continue to buy their products.

I may be a bit biased as Max and Neo have supports the animal shelter I volunteer at but I love these leashes! I have used many leashes at the shelter and these are still my absolute favorite! They are always very well made and durable. It doesn’t break or give when my 50 pound pibble decides to pull me across the yard when she sees a squirrel. I seem to frequently need to use both of the double handles so I am thrilled they are both nicely padded. Finally I love the metal D-Ring for holding the poop bag container as opposed to plastic ones found in cheaper leashes. Overall worth every penny AND they support animal shelters!

Not only do you get great service along with a well made product you also get to help out rescues , what ever you buy Max and Neo match what you buy and send it to a rescue !
