Works great so far. Only used it a couple of times. I dont think its especially stretchy, but I dont want it stretchy. I have a large, strong dog who pulls a lot. If the leash was stretchy, Im afraid it would get loose or worn out over time. I mention stretchiness because even though the product info doesnt say anything about it, the review specifically asked about it. We have another brand of double-handled leash, but the second handle is right at the clasp, which I dont like, it is too low. I like that the second handle on this Max and Neo leash is a little higher up. Overall, great product and I would definitely recommend it.

Originally got this to make it easier for my dad when he walks our 80lb Malamute but we liked it so much it became our dog’s everyday leash. I really like being able to hold him close when needed and the padding on both handles. Will be ordering another one for our 70lb Pit Lab mix soon!

I bought this leash because of the reviews on Wirecutter. And I love it. The double handle makes controlling my large dog so much easier. Hes a rescue and still learning. Sometimes he pulls too much when hes got more room on the leash. When hes pulling too much or when we are in a situation where I need a little more control, the handle closer to his collar is a great option. And the handles are padded for comfort and also non-slip. Just because I liked the leash so much, I bought a second one for my equally large dog who is older and much more well behaved.

Love this leash mostly, but I’m guessing it’s the logo of it that has cut my hands multiple times- the placement of it is just not great if you have to pull on anything other than the neoprene handle. Otherwise this leash is awesome. Super sturdy, love the color and the double handles

I really like this leash because I can you it as a short or long leash on our walks. It seem durable with my 60lb dog and the handles are comfortable with the padding. I also like the idea they donate another leash to a shelter and not just a portion of sales.

This is the best leash I have ever used. Its sturdy, it looks nice, and I really like the double handle on it, for times when I need to pull my dog in closer to me when he decides to go psycho (like when a person goes by. Or a car or a truck. God forbid the mailman or a bicyclist goes by...). I have no fear that the leash will snap or break or come loose or anything. The shorter handle could be a bit further up on the leash, but it works fine. Hes a shorter dog (unlike the German Shepard pictured), and Im a taller person, but its all good. The handle is padded and wraps comfortably around your hand. It also has a spare clip you can attach your baggies to. These guys donate a leash for every leash sold. How heartwarming is that? Give them your business, and help a doggo in need!

There’s two padded handles, one at the end of the lead and one closer to your dog for control. The handles are lightly padded so, the lead doesn’t cut into your hand. Good color and durable.

This double handle leash is great. IT is well made, and the extra handle is well placed to help control the dog. Some double handles are placed too close to the clip. This one is far enough away from the clip to be ideal. The leash is well made and strong. I found the 6 ft leash to be too long for me, with a big German Shepherd -- the 4 ft leash was perfect. I use the 10 inch traffic leash on her halter, and then attach this double handle leash to her martingale collar -- and then I have all the control I need with a 75 pound dog!

I freaking love this leash. I have a few other leashes and this is by far my most used! I like the shorter handle for training my dog not to pull on the leash and walk next to me, but Ill occasionally use the long end when she wants to sniff something. I have a fearful aggressive dog that wants to meet everybody and every dog and chase every squirrel so its important to pull her back when she growls or the situations escalate and this leash has held up to lots of holding back and a very strong dog! She stands probably about a little over a foot tall and the short handle allows her to walk about 6 inches in front of me max, so just something to consider if youre buying this for a small, low to the ground dog!

Best leash ever. Our former German Shepherd/boxer/pit mix did great with this leash. Wonderful for short leash walking. We have a new puppy on the 4ft double handle leash and she does great on it. Super sturdy and the right portions for double handle leash walking. That fact that Max & Neo gives another leash to a rescue is A wonderful Bonus.
