I first used a Max & Neo leash at the humane shelter where I volunteer as a dog walker. Thanks for the donation! I was so impressed with the leash’s quality of workmanship & comfort in my hand that I ordered one for each of my own 2 dogs. After several weeks of use, I continue to be impressed with the quality and comfort of this product. And, of course, I am always happy to buy products from a company which supports rescue organizations.

I usually use a longer training leash for my dog, because we often take longer walks and runs in parks. I wanted a shorter leash for city sidewalks, with control for when we pass other dogs or obstacles, so I ordered this leash. Both handles have cushioning, which adds to the comfort. I ordered black and it has reflective stiching, which is a bonus in the city. The leash is well made and the closure is sturdy. My dog is 75ish pounds, so I need a strong leash if she sees a squirrel or something. My only problem is that the lower handle is a bit low to grab because I use an easy walk harness, which hook to leash under a dog’s neck in order to work. Still not a big deal, just should be noted. I like having a second handle for control/support in case she wants to chase an animal or run from something as she is a puller if something exciting happens and I need quick control (even with harness). She listens well, but you never know what you can come upon while walking. Happy to have an alternative to my longer leash.

For the money, this leash is one of the best purchases we made for our puppy. We still use it every day, and the lower loop close to the harness is ideal for situations where we need a little more control. Great leash choice!

If you have a chewer this may not be the best leash for you. My puppy is notorious for biting her leash during our walks and only lasted a month before it started to fray. Comfortable to hold and use but not very durable.

I love the short handle for more control in certain situations. Also, the handles are lined with a soft fabric to make it easier on your hands! Its a great strong, all around leash and makes a big difference when were out for a walk. If I want my guy right next to me in heavy traffic or with other menacing dogs approaching, its just so easy to hold him close. Love it!

Allows full control when walking a very energetic pup

A dog trainer recommended this leash to me at the park. Love the double handles to help with leash training. I have a beagle and he is short, so with other double handle leashes the lower handle is too close to the collar clip. This one has more distance between the clip and the handle, so it works perfect for me without having to hunch down.

I used this with the matching martingale collar. I used the shortened hand holder and had excellent response from my dog who is 66lbs. Very happy with this setup. Latching mechanism is strong and sturdy.

This was a replacement for the exact same leash. We turned our head and our 7 month old GSD got a hold of it, and it was not a match to her shark teeth. That being said, that was our fault. This is not indestructable, however when used properly as a leash, we love it. The double handle works well in training and the Hot pink is very snazzy for our girly girl.

After using the first Max & Neo double handle leash, I bought a second one. The handles are padded and comfortable. The short handle makes it a lot easier to control my active 11-month-old Brittany while walking. I use the long handle when we go on runs. Very well made.
