A dog trainer recommended this leash to me at the park. Love the double handles to help with leash training. I have a beagle and he is short, so with other double handle leashes the lower handle is too close to the collar clip. This one has more distance between the clip and the handle, so it works perfect for me without having to hunch down.

These leashes are great! I bought two of them for my pups, who are not the best on a leash, and they have held up really well. The double handle makes it easy to pull them back when they start going crazy when another dog passes by. The handles are padded and are super comfortable. The colors are vibrant and super cute. And best of all I love knowing my purchase goes to helping other pups. Even though I plan on having these leashes for quite a while, I would totally buy them again and again. I might even purchase them as gifts in the future for my fellow fur parents!

This leash has effective reflective stitching making my dog and me visible on dark nights. The traffic stop handle close to the collar is fantastic for getting more control over my dog and I see the look of confidence as people drive by knowing my dog will not be able to dart into the roadway. Both of the handles are comfortably padded and the handle at the end of the leash has a handy metal ring for attaching poop bags, a small flashlight or other essentials. My dog thinks it tastes great and chewed the first one purchased into segments. I had the option to then purchase a different leash, but why? This one is nearly perfect. I wish it were a little more bite proof but that is not enough to detract from my 5 star rating.

For those reviewers who gave it a star or two, because they said it wasn’t tough enough because their dog was able to chew through it.... how stupid can you be to let your dog chew it? If that’s a problem for you; buy yourself a steal chain. Case closed! I in the other hand like it very much. Simple, comfortable, durable, affordable, and long enough for my siberian husky.

If you have a dog, you need a leash. And there are dogs out there that rescue organizations are trying to find loving homes for. I needed new leashes for my 2 dogs. The Max and Leo double handled leash met my needs of a 6 foot leash with a extra handle in the middle of the 6 foot lead- sometimes you need to keep your pet closer than 6 feet when walking.
