Purchased this on a whim along with the PS3 version and so far I am extremely impressed. Install drivers > plug in adapter > sync controller, DONE. (I used on Windows 8.1 system with Steam Big Picture and other non steam games, all worked flawlessly.) You can toggle between D/Xinput on the adapter though Ive mostly only used the Xinput. The computer will recognize the controller as an Xbox 360 controller which is great, but also brings me to the one drawback I found. Even though it is recognized as an XBOX 360 controller, the ABXY mapping is Nintendos version, not the standard XBox 360 placement. This throws me off enough in some games that I am using the Dualshock 3 controller + adapter instead (which maps the same as an XBOX 360 controller.) If Mayflash releases a driver that will allow the user to change the ABXY mapping, this would definitely be my wireless controller of choice for PC gaming.

Hey All, Bought this adapter because the Bluetooth work around wasnt working for me. It arrived quick, was super easy to install (Windows 8.1), and works well as either a 360 emulator or regular controller (Really like this feature). Just a note: with 360 emulation, the XYAB buttons are mapped to the XYAB button on Pro Controller (meaning they are in a different place than a 360 controller). Be sure you are OK with buttons not being in the same place. Could always use the Dpin setting customize the buttons how you like. I only have 1 issue I came across. When I stuck it into a USB 2.0 port it would stay on for about 10 seconds after I synced it and then shut off. After fiddling with it for a couple minutes, I plugged it into USB 3.0 and it worked without problem. Might just be my configuration but in case anyone else has this problem. Overall great buy if you want a Pro controller to work on your PC if you dont want to use the technical way or it just doesnt work.

While it technically functions, it does not seem to work very well with third-party controllers. For example, my Hyperkin ProCube controller is unable to use all of the buttons when connected, as the device falsely registers a button being held down on my controller.

Works just as I hoped it would. It was simple to install and get running. I figured it would make my Wii U Pro Controller emulate a 360 controller, and the button layout would match for 360. I.e. Y on a 360 pad is the top button, but is X on a Pro controller. I figured with this that X on my Pro controller would function as Y did on my 360. To my surprise all the buttons were correct. What was Y on my 360 controller is still Y on my Pro controller!

For the longest time, Ive been trying to find ways to use Wii controllers on my PC. I started off with bluetooth adapters and a cavalcade of programs that ended up not working too well. I had purchased a Wii Classic Controller to USB adapter and used that for awhile. Though, given the superiority of the Wii U version, I had always wanted to use it. To my excitement, I discovered that this product exists. First and foremost, its the most simple thing you could ask for. There is no software to customize or drivers to install; you plug the unit into your system, hit the sync button on the unit and on the Pro controller, and everything works seamlessly. It has two modes: X-Input and Direct. X-input mode emulates an Xbox 360 controller, whereupon the rear triggers function as analog and the rumble works perfectly. The only caveat is since this is a Nintendo controller, AB and XY are in their respective Nintendo locations, so the bottom button presses as B and the right button presses as A and so on. In Nintendo games, it works as it should. In most PC games, though, you may need to remap the buttons accordingly. Also, in X-Input mode, only one controller works per adapter, so in a situation where you would like four wireless controllers on your PC, you would have to either buy four adapters or use Direct Input. DI mode supports four controllers with one adapter, but the ZR and ZL buttons become digital and the rumble doesnt operate. With that said, the Wii U Pro Controller is my favorite gaming controller. Ive used Dualshock 3, Xbox 360, XBox One and PS4 controllers, and this one is still my favorite. You really cant argue with the 80 hour battery life, either.

I was recommended this adapter by a youtube video to connect my wii u pro controller on my nintendo switch system. It connects to the wii u pro controller but when I try it on the switch it does jot work. I even tried connecting it to my Macbook pro so I could use it with to play games. And still didn’t work.

I wish it was a bit cheaper (or just cheaper shipping) but its still worth it. It works flawlessly! Dark Souls 1 & 2 play so much better and the buttons are mapped properly, plus it makes plenty of other games (such as every game by The Behemoth) quite a bit easier too. This is definitely worth it if you only have console controllers, and in my opinion the WiiU Pro Controller is a thousand times better than the 360 controller so its just that much better.

It worked as intended and took little time to understand how to set up. Used it to play COD and some emulators

It does what it says and it works ok but mine was kind of buggy. The Xinput/Dinput switch doesnt work very well and found it switching off of Xinput on its own alot without the physical switch moving. I have to fiddle with it a bit to get it to work again. I just gave up and bought an Xbox One controller and tossed it in my junk drawer.

I bought the Mayflash SNES to USB adapter before for emulation purposes, and while that worked (and still works) great, I wanted to be wireless while gaming on my HTPC in my living room. I wanted something close to the original SNES pad as possible, and while the Dualshock 3 and 4 are excellent, they dont feel like a Nintendo product. I got this adapter to use the Wii U Pro Controller and it works without a hitch. SNES games feel incredible now. The only problem Im having, which isnt much of an issue, is I cant get it to work in DInput mode, only Xinput. The power button on the controller works fine with Xinput, but when I try to power it on with Dinput I get nothing. I have to load control panel and go to gamepad properties for it to turn on. Every time. Id rather use it in that mode just so it wouldnt conflict with my Xbox 360 adapter and the numbering of those pads, but either Im missing something or it doesnt work like that. Either way, still a very solid plug and play product.
