These are pretty much exactly what you want for pot lights. No more need for deep can installations. And those got hot, sometimes needed insulation, etc. These are so slim and easy to install. If these are a retrofit, you can have them in there almost as quickly as changing a light bulb. The major plus in these is the night light. At bedtime, I can give the switch a waggle and they go into night mode. Its a wee bit bright with the six of them - but works for an hour. Ive got the switch to Alexa, so its timed to turn off after. The color adjustment makes for perfect room aesthetics and then rather than wire nuts, the trend is WAGOs. These are knock-offs but work great. The quality is hard to say thus far. The connection box metal is a bit thin but fine. Maybe this is a bit lower quality than the build of the old cans, but likely it is all it needs. My guess is ten years before needing service. This is a great set at a great price.

Before I go into my review, if you do not know what you are doing or not comfortable doing any kind of electrical work, seek out a licensed electrician to help you install these lights! With that said, I absolutely love these thin recessed LED’s. They are so simple to install, simply cut a hole and pop in the light/junction box and the spring clips hold the light tight against the sheet rock. They provide an incredible quality of light in the room, and they are bright! You don’t need a ton of them to evenly light a room. You can also change the color temperature of them to your liking from a more yellow to blueish hue. I prefer pure white. I think it’s the most complementing color temperature to a room since it doesn’t cast a colored hue on everything. The night light feature is awesome! It casts an orange glow from the edges of the lights across the ceiling. Really awesome effect for setting the mood. I would for sure recommend these lights. You can’t go wrong with recessed LED Trims especially with the night light feature!

These are a great small light for any living space where you have/had canned lighting. They are easy to install, put out enough light, and work as expected. I would recommend.

Only installed four so far in large room and they are awesome, Totally dims and the night light is the coolest ever, It glows from around the top at the ceiling, Kinda looks like little UFOs. They are easy to install...But if you dont have the needed knowledge and experience in electrical installation Dont try it - Hire an Electrician, Because electricity can kill you! Anyway, If youre into cool things them youll love these, And if youre into romance, these are a Players Ace with the cool color of the night light and the dimmer, You can put them in the coolest places at any angle single or in sequence, theyre a lot of fun!

This set of 4 12 pack LED recessed lights is a fantastic value - less than half of other brands, and they work great! I particularly appreciate the night mode wherein the downlight or a dim band around the top of the light will turn on. I have some experience with other lights that do the same - they are supposed to remember the mode last used when power is turned back on, and this does not always work. I do not know if these lights suffer from the same issue. But so far I love them!

Electrician Here. If the reader is an electrician as well, then one knows how easy these are to install. For those folk, I will just say, Plenty of room in the junction box, dimmable by standard switch, and temp control switch on the j-box. For all non-electrician buyers: One cannot go wrong with these lights. Not only are they easy to install, they are even easier to replace when the time comes. DYI folks using them for the first time will be thrilled with the simplicity. Anyway... Good lights at a good price. Adjustable color. Dimmable. Well packed. I can never have too many in stock. Can lights without the can. No clearance worries. Just clip in and smile. These four inch can killers require a few more units to light up a whole room; however, just a few are great to really brighten a specific area. Be sure all the color switches are set them same when installing (different temp settings are very noticeable) and wrapping the j-box closed with electrical tape covering the switch as well is a good hack for the inexperienced.

Im finishing a bonus room and decided to go with recessed lights instead of traditional can lights. The lights have a quality feel and came packaged well. They connected easily and work as youd expect. Theyre very bright but adjusted down based on the dimmer switch Ive used. When you flip the switch they come one, then you turn them off and on again for the accent light. Very cool. Im impressed and dont plan on going back to traditional cans considering the ease and price point of a canless wafer light.

- ultra thin with junction box are easiest to install in existing house - simple instructions and worked fine - quality looks ok to me - price is reasonable - brightness with 4 led for 150sq ft room was good , for larger room I used 6

Easy to install, almost invisible, and as bright as you need. I installed six in my living room around the perimeter on one circuit and a pair to highlight the fireplace/hearth on another circuit (both have dimmer switches).
