> 3 dayThese are very nice looking, slim profile “panel” type led lights. They are the flush mount can-less style, with an exposed flat flange ring of less than an 1/8 inch thick. The cutout hole is 6-1/8” diameter, and the trim covers a diameter of approximately 6-5/8. I was replacing an existing 6” led panel light and found that this particular light had a slightly smaller diameter, so if you are doing a retrofit, you may want to check the size of your existing opening against these measurements. Installation is very straight forward. These are meant to be installed in ceilings or walls with enough interior space to fit the included 4” x 2-3/4” x 1-3/8” metal junction/control box and a shorth length of cable; directly wired to a switched light circuit. The provided J-box opens up with a little swing type door which was easy to open by hand, and snaps snugly closed after you make the wiring connections to your light circuit. There are 3 knock-outs which have slots for a screwdriver, but I was able to simply bend and break it off by hand. You will need to provide your own a push-in plastic strain relief to protect the wires coming into the J-box. In the back of the box there are 2 “teardrop” mounting holes for attachment to your ceiling joist if required by your local codes. Each of the internal ground, hot and neutral wires are already attached to their own 4 conductor push-in wire connector, ready to connect to your house wiring. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the existing braided wires were pre-tinned before they were inserted into the connectors at the factory; which I thought was a good indication of the quality of this product. The light panel is cabled to the J-box with a 22 awg PVC coated cable which has an overall length 14”, secured to the light housing with a plastic strain relief clamp, reducing the length to 12”. The quick disconnect plug is located in the middle of the cable, and is keyed internally with a small tab, as well as indicator arrows on the connector to ensure that it is plugged in correctly. It also has a plastic screw-on ring to keep the connector from pulling apart, and it’s easily disassembled for swap-out. The light fixture itself has a nice clean bright white matte finish on the bezel, and the panel face looks to be a textured thick plastic with a slight off-white color. The specs indicate that these consume 12 watts, are dimmable and suitable for damp locations (not direct contact with water, though). Operationally, the light energizes almost instantly with a barely imperceptible delay, and has a slight afterglow which fades quickly when switched off. The light color temperature is switchable from soft white, bright white or daylight (3000/4000/5000K). The color selection slider switch is located on the metal control/junction box, so keep accessibility in mind when installing it. My test installation only involved one led light out of the 12 that I obtained; however, I plan to install 8 more when I complete our kitchen upgrade shortly. I will update my review if I observe any inconsistencies in the operation or quality of the remaining lights in this set, however currently I am very impressed with the quality of this product.

> 3 dayThese have been really hard to photograph. I am not the person to figure out on a point and shoot camera how to block light but collect the back ground too. Overall, they do everything they say with multiple colors of light for regular looking on the Kelven scale. The very cool feature is the night light I have to say. It really does work, and it works well too. Overall, these are very easy to install and should not cause many any difficulty. Use your head, be smart, safe ladders, safety glasses, and know your power is safe to work with. Dont be ashamed to call a tradesman in either. They will have insurance for those goof ups should they happen. Just be safe always safety first.

Greater than one weekI always love these wafer lights. Very easy to install without the worries that comes with installing dome lights with cans. Just cut a 4.13 inch (105mm) hole with a hole saw and it fits snuggly into the hole and held in place with the attached spring clips even when theres obstruction like a wood beam in the way. 5 selectable color schemes was a plus so you can choose how bright your room should be.

> 3 dayThe first thing you want to know is that it requires a 105mm hole saw, which is the same as 4 1/8. Its an odd size, and the lip is pretty small so you want to get the correct size. They so far have been nice in the room they were installed in. The installation was very easy, and the fact they included the push connectors and they have 4 spots in them is perfect. 1 spot for the input wire, 1 spot for the wiring of the light, and 2 output connectors to go to the next lights. The temperature switch on the box lets you see the different temps before you put it in. I picked a middle of the road 3k which is perfect for the room. Light is well spread out and defused. This was my biggest concern but they did a good job. When the lights finally fail one day you just pop it out and unscrew it from the power box and put a new one in. These types of lights though typically last a very long time, so I suspect by the time you are replacing them you will get a whole new setup. The box fits through the cut out hole just fine, and I actually just placed them up inbetween the joists rather than screwing them in place. You will need a romex connector as one is not included Lastly, they are packaged very well in their box, and includes the circle cutout in case you arent using a hole saw / to line things up.

> 3 dayMeconard 12 Pack 6 Inch 5CCT LED Canless Recessed Lighting with Night Light, 2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K Selectable Ultra-Thin LED Ceiling Lights, 12W=110W, 1050LM, Dimmable Wafer Downlight ETL&FCC The clips for the mounting are a lot easier than some of the other canless lights that use cheap strands of metal to catch the side of where you install them. These ones can either clip on to the ceiling or if you still have can covers above the light holes, they will easily apply pressure to the side walls to keep them up. Looking at the internal components of the controller box, they could have easily just built that in to the light and have it as one unit. But you have to find a place to secure the box which takes away from what could have been a very simple install. The lights are nice a bright and the variable options and night light are great features for these at the cost.

> 3 dayI dont leave reviews too often but these lights are awesome. Placed in my hallway with a dimmer as suggested and WOW. Placed 4 about 50 apart down my hallway. Perfect even light, great coverage, need to keep about 50% dim with 5000k usage. Even the nightlight mode can dim or brighten. Both give great light. Hoping they last!!!
