> 24 hourHaving the smart plug turn the Christmas lights on when it gets dark and off after everybody goes to bed is nice. No longer have to remember to turn the outside decorations on or off.

> 24 hourMy wife always complains that my outdoor gazebo lights are too bright. But no more with this Meross Smart Dimmer Plug. I had no problem connecting it to my home wifi. Then I used it outdoors first in the front of my home about 10 feet from the wifi and more recently moved it to my gazebo out back about 25 feet from the house. I have no problem controlling the plug or using the dimmer function. I would buy this again, highly recommended!

> 24 hourThis is my second meross product after their smart plugs. I plugged it in, pressed the + sign on the app, chose smart outdoor plug and Next and it was installed. it automatically integrated into my Alexa Meross devices. The whole process was painless. Each outlet can be individually addressed or both together. I moved it outside, plugged in my outdoor lighting and immediate connection to my network and the socet powered on and off perfectly. Now, will it last over time? Dont know, but for starters it is a 5 star device but 4 because it is not the least expensive out there.

> 24 hourIm reasonably impressed with the Meross products that include an outdoor switch for deck lights, garage door interface to the opener, and mini smart switches. Meross has its own App and skill that works well. I encountered problems when the deck became unresponsive, and opener instructions contained an error. It was very difficult to contact support. Id rate that one star only. I finally resolved problems with YouTube and searches.

> 24 hourI bought this to control a pond pump outside. In my experience the thing that distinguishes Meross wireless switches from others is the ease and peace-of-mind of connecting it to your wireless network. First you install the Meross app on your phone (in my case an iPhone). When the switch receives power for the first time, it creates its own temporary local WiFi network whose name will be something like Meross_SW_abc123. You connect your phones wifi to this network, and the Meross app connects to the switch over that network. Then you tell the app which home network you want the switch to connect to under normal operation, and the password for that network. And then youre done. For folks like me, who want to be careful to keep their smart devices on a separate Guest network because you dont 100% trust them and dont want them to be able to talk to your home intranet, this setup lets you do that. You never have to enter in your main home network credentials. This is in contrast to some other smart switches Ive seen that are very unclear about which network they need and why. The WiFi signal is good too. My switch is plugged in outside about 100 feet from the router. According the the Meross app the signal strength is at 20%. But I havent had any problems controlling it.

> 24 hourIt took a bit to get set up. First, I believe it was an error I made. I use a VPN and spent about an hour trying to get the dinner to add to the app. After a bit I realized I had installed the dimmer after I enstalled the other Meeoss switches and outlets t use. Once I disconnected the VPN. Boom. Works like a champ. I have 3 stars to the easy to install as a single sentence turn off VPN prior to trying to connect would have saved a lot of time. Overall it is a good product at a great price. Thanks

> 24 hourI have the (5) Feit Electric String lights in my yard and I have them connected to an outlet via the Treatlife smart dimmer until now. However, the smart dimmer plug a low voltage issue where the lights randomly flash when they are turned off annoying the neighbors at night. Also, it was connected to HomeKit via homebridge. Then came this little piece of genius which solved all my issues and has a very wide dimming range as a bonus, if you are into HomeKit and looking for a plug in dimmer, this is it!
