> 24 hourUpdate - October 27, 2022. Unfortunately, my excitement with this plug was short-lived. It has an exceptionally poor ability to stay connected to Wi-Fi, even when plugged in next to a router for testing. It would stay connected maybe 24 hours, and then disconnect, failing to reconnect. There has been one firmware update to address Wi-Fi stability since I received this, but it has failed to resolve the problem. So the potential is there, but until this issue is resolved I cannot recommend it. Original review below: So I picked up some LED string lights on Amazon, but, as with most string lights, you plug them in to turn them on, and unplug them to turn them off. I am a lazy human, and do not wish to do this. First, it means I have to leave my rooftop deck in the dark, and secondly it means Id fall down the stairs. Neither of these scenarios are appealing. So enter the Meross Smart Dimmer Plug, - with HomeKit support! Perfect. Plug string lights into Meross plug, and then plug the Meross into the outlet. Then it was just a case of using the Meross app/HomeKit to add the plug, and done! This supports dimming, which I was glad to see my string lights do, too. Excellent product, easy to set up, and well-priced, too. 5 out of 5. Love it.

> 24 hourIt does and is everything it claims to be and appears sturdy and well made. A 5th start if they figure out a better way to protect the plugs when not being used. The current solution is a rubber insert (like a child-protection plug) that is connected between the plugs. When 1 plug is in use, its fine, but when you attempt to plug in a 2nd plug, the rubber protectors make it much harder than it should be. It DOES work...but not as well as it could.

> 24 hourOnce again, a search for “outdoor dimmer smart plug” turns up a product that doesn’t actually dim. Product is great - works for what it is - a smart on/off plug. Exchanging. C’mon Amazon you’re killing me.

> 24 hourThe first plug I received didn’t work at all and came with zero instructions. The replacement works, but when I follow the instructions it won’t pair with the merros app, but will work with apple home for about 30 minutes. After that it’ll say “No response”. The plug is literally in my kitchen not more than 20’ from the WiFi and I have very good wifi. My phone is a iPhone 13 Pro Max and it’s updated. This plug is a total waste of time and money. I’m in my 20’s, technologically advanced, and I’ve spent hours trying to figure it out. It’s very frustrating and I’m gonna go back to my old fashion timer that plugs into the wall.

> 24 hour1) It took calling customer service to get it workin even tho I have other meross devices. And have experience setting up devices to Alexa. After 40 mins w customer service it works well!! Still does 2 months later!! 2)The outlets are too close to use withwider external plugs. We had to use an adapter to use more than one plug.

> 24 hourAs you can see, the functionality is amazing. My only issue is I thought it would be a bit more water resistant. A few bouts of sideways rain kind of made my GFCI trip. I bought it for that as much as the integration which is why it gets four stars. Other then that, setting up the plug was an absolute breeze and having it be integrated with the rest of my smart home was just as easy. Really helped with keeping the electric bill down during the holidays.

> 24 hourI put this in my hoop house, and use it to run a space heater set on a temperature-triggered schedule. The Meross to SmartThings integration took a few minutes to side up, but ever since then it’s worked flawlessly.

> 24 hourOk, the timer works, 1 independant outlets is nice. The app, not so nice. It isnt that intuitive and took me a few minutes figuring out how to get it on the wifi. One thing i havent found in the app is the ability to have a family account. Im going have to put the app on the hubbys phone and log in. Jinvoos app creates family shares, but they dont make an outdoor outlet. I like Jinvoo better, more features.

> 24 hourMeross WIFI outdoor plug . I like the idea of being able to have two outlets on one connector and can turn on or off individually as needed. It was easy to connect to our WIFI as long as you have 2.4GHZ speed only. It will not work on 5.0 and 2.4 alternating.
