As you can see, the functionality is amazing. My only issue is I thought it would be a bit more water resistant. A few bouts of sideways rain kind of made my GFCI trip. I bought it for that as much as the integration which is why it gets four stars. Other then that, setting up the plug was an absolute breeze and having it be integrated with the rest of my smart home was just as easy. Really helped with keeping the electric bill down during the holidays.

I have the (5) Feit Electric String lights in my yard and I have them connected to an outlet via the Treatlife smart dimmer until now. However, the smart dimmer plug a low voltage issue where the lights randomly flash when they are turned off annoying the neighbors at night. Also, it was connected to HomeKit via homebridge. Then came this little piece of genius which solved all my issues and has a very wide dimming range as a bonus, if you are into HomeKit and looking for a plug in dimmer, this is it!

I use it once a year for Xmas lights. Goes on at sunset, off at 11:00.

While I have a different, popular manufacturer, for managing a number of sockets inside my house, they dont make any for outside use. But as I have different C7 lights out lining my house from Oct thru April I wanted something for outside, searching I took a chance on these and so glad I did. Very easy to use and setup thru the app but I love the routine functionality, and the fact that I can control, and set routines for, each plug individually. Liked it so much Ive bought two more already.

Having two plugs that can be programmed independently of each other is great. I have one plug running my landscape lights with a dusk to midnight timer and the second running a light on Old Glory on a dusk to dawn timer. The plug is small enough that it fits inside the lightkiwi low violated transformer box. So to keep it completely out of the weather I installed it inside with a few command strip pieces of Velcro, fits perfect, everything inside the box, very clean look. The wifi signal connectivity was fine even being inside the stainless steel box. However after a week it started to foul up, the app dropped the light and I had to reinstall it several times, not very hard but annoying. Then where there was once wifi signal it was no longer strong enough. My router is about 35-40 ft. through the one outside wall. I had the same problem with an ihome plug. That was a single plug that ran everything, I upgraded to this plug to run the two zones of outside lights. The solution, I bought a wifi extender and put it in a plug that is withing a foot of the outside plug, through the wall of course. No issues since. Bottom line is it needs a very striping wifi signal, seems like all of the outdoor plugs regardless of manufacture does. In the end a $40 wifi extender was just a part of the project to get things running. 4 stars as in a perfect world I would not need the wifi extender. But very happy with the plug, works great with good signal.

I was getting tired of resetting the outdoor timer for our porch lights to match shifting daylight hours especially fall and spring, not to mention every power outage (frequent for us in winter). I’ve had great success with Meross smart plugs in the past and it had good reviews on tech sites. Unfortunately you can’t really trust Amazon reviews. What can I say? I plugged it in to an easy-access indoor outlet and lamp, scanned the code with my iPhone, labeled it, and it connected to HomeKit. Moved it to the porch lights, created automation to turn on at sunset and turn off later. Now if my kids are out late, I can just override the turn off and leave the lights on until their iPhone is home. I also randomly change smart lights when we travel (we have an AppleTV and a few HomePod minis, any of which give us secure access away from home). Easy to link, easy to use, rugged… I plan to get another next Black Friday week for Christmas lights! Meross is by far the most reliable and easiest brand of smart plugs…and I don’t do a thing after power outages or time changes. Worth every penny!

I got this for outdoor Christmas lights. I used it for the season and thought that it was pretty good. The app to control the lights could be better, but it does work well with Alexa. You have to choose, though. Or at least I did. I programmed it with the app, but when I set it up to work with Alexa, it no longer worked with the app. It seems that I should be able to set it up so that I could use whatever is the most convenient for me at the time. This is the only smart plug that I have, so maybe they just havent gotten around to programming things better yet. Either way, it works; does the job that I wanted it to. I would buy this again.

It took a bit to get set up. First, I believe it was an error I made. I use a VPN and spent about an hour trying to get the dinner to add to the app. After a bit I realized I had installed the dimmer after I enstalled the other Meeoss switches and outlets t use. Once I disconnected the VPN. Boom. Works like a champ. I have 3 stars to the easy to install as a single sentence turn off VPN prior to trying to connect would have saved a lot of time. Overall it is a good product at a great price. Thanks

Very easy setup and integrated into Smartthings. Perfect for what I needed, to run my deck lights and water fountain. Independent control for the two outlets was a big plus! I would be conscious of the amperage of the devices you are plugging into the unit, but for most, it is adequate. Only gripe is the plugins will not accept bigger block type plugins; not a deal breaker, I just made some short extension cords to use. I will buy again!
