Greater than one weekIt was a bit difficult to set up with Apple Home. Once it connected, the installation/setup went fine.

> 3 dayThese power adapters connected easily and directly to HomeKit, and did not require a meross application to configure. They respond quickly to control inputs, and are similar size and shape to all the other outlets I have. The price was excellent, and delivery was incredibly fast.

> 3 dayThese are easy to set up. I especially like that I can access them through the app when I am away from home to turn lights on or off. I definitely recommend them.

> 3 dayI have 4 of these outlets; about every 2 months, half to all of them stop working and cant be reached. Then in order to reinstall them, the normal Homekit install process doesnt work and you have to join the device wifi network and install each one manually. Nevertheless, this seems to be the only real option for controlling outlets and works most of the time.

> 3 dayBought this to use with Apple HomeKit. Constantly have to reset and add devices back to home because they will stop working. Very poor device. Really wish I hadn’t bought it.

Greater than one weekAfter getting Unable to add accessory errors - and getting ready to return this item, I finally read the fine print. I then switched my phone to the slower, older 2.4 GHz network and installation went smoothly. And, after adding to the HomeKit network, I could then return my phone to the speedier and less crowded 5 GHz WiFi network. For those of you that do not know, the original WiFi network was at 2.4 GHz. That was fine, until our network connections needed more speed (data capacity) and all of our neighbors got WiFi. The FCC has since opened up another set of WiFi channels usually referred to as the 5 GHz network (not to be confused with 5G cell phones - that is something different). All of your WiFi connections should be via the 5 GHZ network as it is faster and less prone to interference from nearby WiFi. But it does not travel as far and is more easily blocked by walls in the house. The Meross Smart Plug Mini - there is nothing mini about it - only communicates via the older 2.4 MHz WiFi. To get started, you must change your phone to your 2.4 MHz network in order to add this to the Apple HomeKit automated system. After this plug is added, be sure to switch back to the 5 GHz WiFi network. You will be able to control the Meross Smart Plug while connected to the 5 GHz network, as long as they are both on the same router. The only way to avoid this issue is to get a HomeKit device that works on the 5 GHz network. That will cost more.

Greater than one weekThese are way easier to set up than I thought. All you have to do is scan the QR code and you’re ready to go!

> 3 dayThe plug was easy to install and integrate to Apple’s Home app. After the first one, I spent less than 2 minutes each on the following ones. Unfortunately, 1 out of 4 in the pack failed. It would not be recognized by my home network multiple times, and I noticed the power button was not able to manually switch on/off a connected table lamp. I contacted Meross and provided the HomeKit ID of the defective plug and finally gained approval from its customer services to send me a replacement under warranty (!?). The new one works fine.

> 3 dayI have a new Orbi mesh router with strong Wi-Fi coverage but these plugs don’t stay connected. I have to unplug and plug them back at least once a week. A firmware update has fixes the issues.
