Greater than one weekGood quality and all but their quality control for missing parts is somewhat lacking, the box was missing the red filament guide.

12-06-2025retracting hot filament causes the filament to cool in the throat which immediately clogs it. some people online suggest seasoning it like a cast iron skillet, but I have seen no instructions from microswiss on doing this. If there is a solution microswiss, please let me know, I would love to find out that this is user error so I can change this review, I want, so badly, to love this product, but currently, it is absolutely unusable.

> 3 dayNot only does this kit feel very cheap, (some of the included parts are 3D printed…) but it is not truly compatible with the new ended 3 pros. The current stepper motor has a press fit gear on it, so you will need to buy a new one or get the gear off. Also make sure the eccentric nut fits into the bracket. Mine was not cleared out and it caused collisions with the sides of the machine. Overall it felt very cheap. Felt like the company was saving money, but at least they have good customer service.

> 3 dayI bought both the E3D Hemera and the Mirvo Swiss DD all metal for my Ender 3s. Each extruder has its benefits. But I’ll go into the micro Swiss mainly. Packaging, everything was packed in small poly bags and packaged into a larger box. Box quality and graphics were meh. Could use a lot of improvement if you wanted the item to stand out at stores. Which I think they are in micro centers. Installation. Everything was easy, they have instructions online but use different terms for some of the fasteners. Like they call a m5 SHCS a nylon patch screw. Little confusing but I have big brain and figured it out. The installation process is pretty much just changing out the x axis roller wheels and moving the extruder motor. Took all about 30 minutes to get it up and going. First print after calibration went perfect. Beautiful. No Jams or clogs. Now the Hemera. The packaging on the Hemera was beautiful. I was no expecting it. Everything had a neet little compartment in a minimalistic box. With a nice clean logo on the side. Installing the Hemera requires more disassembly since you will be replacing the extruder stepper wires, thermistor wires, and hot end wires. So it take a while. Trying to find a mount that would work on the Ender 3 was difficult so I ended up modifying my own. Once all mounted the mounts holding the stepper to the plate come loose and cause all sorts of problems. This is the biggest issue. If somebody made and aluminum mount I would buy it in a second. One up and running, nothing can stopped the geared extruder/hot end combo. I’ve had on running for well over 1000 hours and it still prints just like new.

Greater than one weekI purchased this, primarily, to make printing flexible materials easier for the Ender. I know that there are better extruders that help, but my two other printers are direct drive and I never have any issues with them. You will have to print a little slower with the extra weight on the gantry, but slower is the way to print flexibles successfully anyhow. Just remember to calibrate your esteps and change your retraction settings in your slicer.

> 3 dayGreat Product. Bought with my ender 3 v2 to build a better quality printer right away. It was able to Bolt right on with no new belts. I did have to adjust the z axis some and I did however need to use a small l bracket to mount a fan to the Extruder frame. I did that and printed a fan shroud for the micro swiss off thing verse and thats was it. Only issue I have had so far is the nozzle has got badly clogged 3 times. After the 3rd time I cleaned it, I go to run pla through it like normal and it just does not want to flow smooth at all. Sometimes it will come out fine other time it just clogs as soon as filament is feed in in.

> 3 dayThis is all high quality stuff, the only issue is it makes the extruder turn backwards on Ender series. I spent the last week learning how to update my own firmware, and I can tell you it isn’t fun. So I wish they would address this very obvious issue. Besides that, though, just beautiful presentation, great prints, no complaints except for the figment.
