Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 – 13.5 Touch-Screen – Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory – 1TB Solid State Drive – Matte Black

I bought the matte black 13.5 inch, i5 with 256gb of storage, 8gb of RAM from Best Buy. $200 off on a sale for a new laptop was pretty attractive.

This laptop ended up being a wonderful addition to my home office and for when I’m on the go!

Laptop returned, it did not work properly. It kept turning on and off. I reordered another one.

I have had this computer for about a year, using it all day every work day. In general, its technical performance has been very good (better I would say than the many MacBook Airs I owned before). It handles many large applications and browser windows being open at once.

Apart from its beautiful design, build quality and great keyboard, there’s nothing good about this laptop which every user expect. 11.5 hrs battery life is a clear LIE from microsoft. Mine doesn’t even last 4 hrs. As per testing purpose, I only watched netflix once and it lasted only 4.75 hrs at 50% brightness!!! I have already got one replacement within first 3 month of use and still the results are almost same. Add couple hundreds more to your budget and get a thinkpad.

Nicely powered and sleek laptop, with a good keyboard. Unfortunately, I just cant love this machine because of the non-stop fan noise.

Though I didnt but one from Amazon, I got this one from my work, I has the impression that nothing can beat macbook in terms of touchpad, but this one did. Screen quality is spectacular. Its definitely worth the price. Good Job Microsoft Surface Team.

Just FYI, “Sandstone” is rose gold. Definitely a more feminine color, not nearly as tan as pictures would indicate

Battery life and screen quality both terrific.
