> 3 dayMy new Surface stopped being reliable this month, after purchasing it in January. Not everything opens with either the touch screen or the mouse. Cleary Ill have to call on the warranty people. Disappointing...

Greater than one weekLove this product. I got it in Matte Black, and I was expecting much worse for the finger print issue. This is very light and doesn’t bother me.

> 3 dayGets 2 to 3 hours of battery life and is already hanging up when switching apps (specifically MW teams and PowerPoint) after a month old. Cannot play civilization 6 without getting so hot you can’t hold the laptop for long. Ridiculous charger configuration that falls out easily.

> 3 dayIve used Microsoft computers for many years, and bought my first Surface Laptop in 2017 and absolutely loved it. It was used daily for work (from home) and while I took great care of it, I put it through a lot of use and it held up wonderfully. By mid 2020, it had started randomly turning off and freezing up so often that it was a problem, so I decided to buy a newer Surface Laptop and retire the old one.

04-04-2025I am not a big fan of using a laptop because it just doesnt do all the things I want a computer to do for me. I will say that I have always been envious of people with their Macbooks and how light and and functional they were. I decided to give the Microsoft Surface a shot because I have started traveling for work more often and I needed to get over my laptop issues because I cant rely on a tablet. I didnt need something super fast with a lot of storage or anything, just something to quickly type out reports, surf the web and file paperwork with.

> 3 dayIts fast, light and extremely stylish for a 13.5 laptop. Great looking screen at 2256 x 1504 native resolution. Added bonus of WiFi 6 (802.11ax) capability if you have or plan to upgrade to a WiFi 6 router.

> 3 dayThis laptop is what Ive been looking for. If you are looking at a laptop like this, you should be the user that is looking for productivity with office style apps, internet usage, email, developer, etc. This screen aspect ratio is bar-none superior for those use cases, ESPECIALLY at this resolution. You can side by side to Adobe pages and get the full page on each in perfect ratio. So pleasing coming from 16x9 on my previous laptop. Im surprised at how pleasing it is to open this with one hand as well. Its just been designed with care for that use case. Premium luxury device. Having great results with battery life as well.

> 3 dayThis is my third Surface computer. Im convinced that they are the best. I love the size and sleekness of the unit, but mostly love the ease of use and especially the touchscreen. Ive become so used to it that I find myself reaching for the screen of my husbands desktop to scroll! The only reason I ordered a new one is that Microsoft will no longer support Windows 8 after January 2023 (tells you how long I had the previous version!).
