18-11-2024This worked great for me during my Grand Canyon hike. I started with ice water at 6:30 am and it was still cool when I finished at 12:30 pm. Not a lot of storage, but the straps in back held my jacket well.

> 3 dayPRO: I like the cooler liner in the main pocket. CONS: It’s HUGE. I’m petite, but this looks like L.L. Bean backpack from the 90’s. Once it gets to the 1ltr mark it’s almost impossible to get anymore water to come out of it and very frustrating if going on a long bike ride. The drinking tube is insanely long and the mouth piece is annoying with some Fort Knox passcode to get the water out.

> 3 dayI am not a very experienced hiker but I purchased this before a 7hour mountain hike in 95degree weather. I did wrap the water pouch in a hand towel before hiking to absorb the condensation. The insulated pouch was roomy enough to add a frozen water bottle and a few apples inside as well. At the end of the hike my water was nearly gone but still cool. The water did have a slight plastic taste but it didnt bother me. Of course I cannot say how this will hold up with time but it appears to be sturdy.

> 3 dayHonestly, I was prettt sceptical about this pack, but it’s turned out to be prettt awesome! It’s bigger than I expected. I go hiking a lot and use it for that. There’s plenty of space to keep a long sleeved shirt, snacks for me and my dog, and first aid supplies. There are pockets on the waist strap that are good for holding a phone or keys. My water has always stayed at a nice cool temperature throughout the hikes and even after getting home. Overall, this definitely serves its purpose.

Greater than one weekLove the back pack not found of the camelback : just me! Best back pack I have had for my vacation. 55 and 125Lbs. perfect size for me. Used it the entire 21 day vacation. Will be with me on many trips. Very comfortable padded straps for shoulder and waist. All the compartments worked great!
