14-01-2025This solved my issue getting internet to my barn 100ft away..it has to be connected to the router if you have the other end connected to a switch using multiple computers.. I tried using the extra port on the modem but it only gave one IP address to one computer...so if using same connection for multiple items run it through the router so you can share the IP address

> 3 dayI used my homes internal coax network to get Ethernet a room that was not near my router. I have one MOCO device in my network closet and one MOCO device in my remote room. I hooked everything up in a matter of minutes and was surfing the web just as fast. No noticeable lag or slower speeds. I am still getting my advertised ISP internet speeds.

> 3 dayI recently bought a three-bedroom, three-level townhouse and got fiberoptic internet with 1gb speeds. Sadly I tried several wifi routers and none would give me reliable fast (ie 25+mbps) speeds to the far corner of my townhouse, which also happens to be my office. WiFi repeaters didnt work with things like my Sonos system. Thankfully these little gadgets saved me by using my existing coaxial cables in my home (which i do not use). I hooked one of these up next to my router, and the other next to my desktop computer, plugged it in with ethernet cord and getting 800+ mbps. There were cheaper ones available on Amazon, but when dealing with my computer, personal and work information, even while using a VPN and firewall, I wanted a brand name product.

> 3 dayThis works great, I have one of the adapters in the attic connected to my switch and the second once connected to a Google Wifi pod. Definitely near gigabit speeds and its monumentally more reliable and consistent than using the wireless to connect the pod. I test speedtest regularly and always hit my max speeds. With this I was able to place my 3rd access spot exactly were I needed it to provide my 3 story home with a virtually perfect mesh topology.

> 3 dayI installed Netgear Orbi RBK-50 in my home and detached garage. I wanted a wired backhaul between the 2 units but only had coax between the buildings. The Motorola MoCA adapters work perfectly. I’m getting the 400Mbps I’m paying for anywhere on my acre. No reason to doubt the adapters could handle Gigabit Ethernet, though I haven’t tried it.

> 3 dayExcellent! Simply put... I’ve used this equipment on multiple occasions, in all types of situations (line conditions, etc.). I’ve never been let down. The Motorola brand, for the money, is hard to beat. You will not be disappointed! Great for hard to reach locations. -Remember to use the included filter(s).

> 3 dayBought this a while back and finally got to install and test these. With a pair of them, one in the garage and another 15m and a splitter away, I am able to get 860mbps. Pretty darn close to the Gb spec. Will see how it works out with 3.

Greater than one weekI purchased two of these adapters. I just finished installing one of them. I already had a MOCA network so the adapter is being used to connect an older TIVO to the MOCA network. It took about 15 minutes to accomplish this task. I was impressed with the quality of the adapter, the instructions, and that it came with all the required cables.

> 3 dayOne of the most affordable bonded MOCA 2.0 solutions on Amazon. I just upgraded my pair of YTMC-51N1-M2 to these. I was getting roughly 35 to 40 MBps, and now am reliably getting 85-100 MBps. Huge improvement, very happy.

> 3 dayFollowed the instructions included with the product, in tandem with a more generic MoCA guide I found online. Setup was a breeze, and I typically struggle with anything network-related. No issues with speed or network stability.
