> 24 hourPlugged it in and hooked up the cables and my Gigabit network came alive! A definite increase in throughput. I found it to be very quiet, but if its the only equipment in your room and no other noise, I guess you can hear the fan. I cant hear it. No issues after several months of steady use.

> 24 hourThis switch does what it is supposed to do. It did not bite. It did not shoot flames at me. It did not make improper advances to my coworkers. It sits on a shelf, connects all of our computers to the router, and does not complain. Who could ask for more? When the impending robot apocalypse arrives I expect this switch to remain neutral.

> 24 hourVery easy to install and is working great. This unit was a replacement of an older NETGEAR switch and we can tell it has increased our network work speeds.

> 24 hourAfter reading the reviews I knew this was the switch for me. I had a Netgear 8 port Gig switch but I needed more ports. This serves it purpose with ease. Works great and runs cool. The fan problem that some of the other posters have said I havent noticed. My computer is very loud so I dont notice it. If you need more ports then this is the best switch for you. The only thing that sucks is how much Gig switches are. Other than that solid product.
