I used this product to add extra network connections to a workstation that would have been too expensive to add extra network cables to. The equipment connected to this switch runs well.

Ive bought a lot of Netgear consumer devices over the years and generally been happy with them. This switch wasted a lot of my time, although the one I got says it has the normal yellow LEDs for 100/10 mbit connections (and green for full gigabit connections) it lies, it only has green LEDs. Both connections in the picture would be yellow on a switch that had the (previously standard) yellow LEDs for slower connections.

The device worked right out of the box as expected. The manufacturing quality is very good for the price. The instructions were good, but not needed.

Product works very well, 5 minutes installation.

This is a great device for LAN distribution. Needs. They are solid, easy to setup, and low cost. I have a couple of them in use where I have high a high concentration of devices such as in an entertainment system or home office where I needed to interconnect several devices.
