> 3 dayUsed this to distribute ethernet throughout my house. Works great. Wish the mounting slots were situated in a better spot, not behind the circuit board or put optional external mounting brackets on it.

> 3 dayVery pleased with this product. It is solidly built and allows for wall installation - particularly useful when you install near the wifi router. I recommend.

> 3 dayI read that it was a simple plug and play but then the netgear folks came with going online and then i had to pair stuff etc...which i have no handle on...making this easy installation harder....a week later i received a not from netgeat saying that my connection wasnt successful....however my computer runs faster....which was one of the main goals.

> 3 dayThis is advertised as supporting gigabit speeds, but comes nowhere close. I will start off by saying I understand there are a lot of components to networking and a lot of things that can potentially go wrong. I am comfortable with network troubleshooting and I feel Ive reasonably narrowed the cause of the problem down to this switch. I have run speedtests on all connected devices: PC, TV, PS5, Xbox Series X and Chromecast with Google TV. On each device I get around 50 Mbps download speed. I have tried different cables (all CAT6) and different ports on the back of the switch with consistently slow results. I have tried each device one at a time with nothing else connected, no change. My home internet is 400 Mbps. When connecting any of these devices to WiFi instead of using this switch, I get within 20 Mbps of the target 400 consistently. Which I would be happy to use permanently if not for the fact that Ive never been able to achieve a stable, interruption-free WiFi connection. The switch provides a more reliable, but MUCH slower connection. The fact that it is advertised as supporting gigabit speeds is one of the main reasons I bought it. I dont need reliability as an alternative to speed, I need both. Very disappointed, will be returning it.

> 3 dayI returned this as 8 ports might be a bit too many. I only needed 4 ports.
