I have had other Netgear equipment and have had great luck. I like the solid steel construction of this product. I also love how easy it was to setup and configure with logging into a webpage securely.

I went out of port with my NETGEAR N300 WNR2000 which had only 4 ports. So I buy NETGEAR 8 port. NETGEAR makes excellent products. It is easy to setup. Just powered up the switch and plugged the Ethernet cable from modem to any of the port on the NETGEAR 8 port device. Then you can connect all other devices to any port on the back.

I have used Netgear equipment for as long as I can remember, like from the early 80s and they never failed me. Small and large, managed and not all easy to use easy to install and they just work. Never had one failed on me and never changed one because of age, only because of needs. You want a workhorse that will work until you dont, get a Netgear! Honest, it will outlive you.

Really well built and works well. Just to plug in the cables I wanted and everything worked. Really easy to use!

I installed this over the weekend and it has done the job. Pretty basic unit, but thats all I needed. Arrived by the date promised. Great!
