> 3 dayI purchased this as a replacement for an older SMC switch which was malfunctioning and am very pleased. File transfer speeds between our desktops and the server in the basement are faster. And 16 ports (rather than 8) means I dont have to pick and chose which rooms are on the network. The cables come out of the front which may or may not be an issue depending upon location and wiring desired arrangement.

> 3 dayMy home had CAT5 (or 6) connections in the rooms, but we didnt have a router (always relied on wifi). Now working from home, I wanted wired Ethernet connections to speed up a couple of work processes. This inexpensive router is working beautifully!

> 3 dayIf you need an 8-port unmanaged switch that is a dead simple easy set it and forget it device, heres your model. Runs silent, no fan. Has two mounting slots on the bottom of the case that can be used to assist in securing it, if desired.

Greater than one weekI bought two of the eight port and they work flawless. Highly recommend these. The five port are just not big enough to accommodate a home theater system with all the devices you can plug into your receiver.

> 3 dayWorks great! A fraction of the price of the larger with more ports, bought a couple of these and they were basically plug and play!
