> 24 hourProfessional packaging. All parts included..even a three plug adapter. Very easy to install. Five stars - but hoping I never really find out how well it works if a washer hose starts to leak. Although its not cheap, I paid more quite a few years ago at Home Depot for s similar item that started leaking (couldnt fix it) after a couple of years.

> 24 hourSo we havent had any flooding yet, but i did test it on install and it seemed to be working great. It was very easy to install, and they even included in this kit the extra outlet adaptor that I would need since my laundry room only has a plug for the washer and dryer. That was a super nice touch, as I thought when I opened it, oh $%!%!@, I am going to have to go to the store now and get the adaptor before the laundry installation guy shows up in an hour. The laundry installer guy seemed to think it was a good idea, for what its worth. My laundry room is essentially an adapted closet, so this is SUPER useful in allowing me to turn off the water before going on vacation, as I would not be able to reach the taps otherwise.

> 24 hourReceived defective unit and manufacturers customer service advised me to return, which I did. These are a good idea but no one has made a quality one yet. Other well know brand triggers error codes on newer washing machines. For another brand, folks talk about the solenoids failing and CAUSING massive, unchecked washing machine leaks/floods. Id happily pay for a good quality automatic washing machine shutoff valve, if someone ever makes one. Until then, my judgement is these things have more potential for causing a leak than for stopping one.

> 24 hourI believe I got a defective unit. After install, I could hear the valves opening to allow the water to flow. Problem was water only flowed initially. Newer washer is computer controlled for its water needs. When washer requested more water, none was forthcoming. Did the valve close dont know. Only know the error message was that water was not supplied and washing machine shut off.

> 24 hourInstallation was pretty easy, but connecting it to the wifi is impossible!! I have tried for days. The app sends me no new message message all the time- many times a day, even though nothing is connected to the app.

> 24 hourI had checked out different types and brands of laundry leak detecting shut-off valves, being that we live in a 5 unit condo, have a tight location with no access from either side, or the top of the full size stacked washer and dryer. If there was ever a problem there would be absolutely no way to get behind and shut the valves off. This was a reasonable price and being in the machining business, these valves work flawlessly in the tests I put them through before we had the washer installed. After mounting the valves, I unplugged the power and heard the solenoid valves shutting off.Perfect! Next I re plugged the power back in and heard the solenoid valves opening up again.Again Perfect! Lastly, I placed a damp facecloth over the leak detector that gets placed on the floor below the valves and hoses. Within 3 seconds the audible alarm went off and heard the valves closing. I am very pleased with this purchase and finally have some peace of mind that our condo and those below us are protected from a flood from the washer hookup.

> 24 hourWorks as expected. Came in a nice little box with everything you need minus the drill which is optional. At first we didnt know why it wasnt working but be sure to hit the reset button once its all setup and on. I have this on my third floor so a simple alarm and the time it takes to get someone to come turn it off is just not enough. Knowing that this is there brings me peace of mind. I should also note that this valve defaults to off unless there is electrical current going towards the solenoids to keep the valve on or open. Meaning if power goes out, the current stops, which emulates a water leak and washer/dryer = off. Unless you plan on losing power or you live in one of those places its not a big deal.

> 24 hourI brought this product in April 2022 for a difficult to access stacked second floor washer/dryer. Following a repair issue 12/2121, the washer drain hose became dislodged, and the device detected water on the floor, properly shutting off the water. I am grateful that it worked, however, the valves will not reopen. The washer shut off with a low flow error message. I have taken the unit out of service, disconnected the wifi component, extensively dried the sensor, but the solenoids are stuck closed. So, in summary, the product worked ONCE, then became useless. Although I understand it prevented a costly leak repair, for the money, I would expect this product to reset and continue to work more than once.

> 24 hourThe reason for only 4 stars is that I have not had a water leak since installation. I did not see another with this simple functionality. If you even think about buying this you should do it. The alternative of a flood is very painful.
