> 24 hourOur out of town condo has a washer/dryer on the second floor. Been there for over 20 years. Watched a This Old House episode where they talked able potential leaks in washer hoses. Found this product, ordered it and went up and installed it in the condo. Has a leak detector which sits on the floor and I tested it by dropping it in a bucket with some water in it. The system shut off both water outlets. Maybe we would never have had a problem but now have piece of mind that I wont go up to our condo and find a waterfall in the living room.

> 24 hourEasy to install! Great protection and peace of mind for my 2nd floor laundry room. I am a former insurance adjuster and have seen the damage that can happen when there is a leak in a 2nd floor laundry room. I always buy the upgraded braided metal hoses but even those have a warning that they need to be changed yearly. Who does that? Not me. Also great that with a push of a button the water can be shut off to washer before I leave on vacation. Great product!!

> 24 hourOk, for $120 dollars you will lose customers if you don’t offer REAL customer service for existing customers. The unit is exactly 2 years old and the alarm won’t stop sounding even though there is no leak. After multiple times of resetting attempts (including disconnecting from power for 30secs+) and then waiting on hold, to be hard sold on the “new improved unit” without offering additional support or a discount is BAD customer service. In today’s market I have too many other choices but wanted to buy American made and ran into “American corporate greed.” You have lost a customer.

> 24 hourI live in a townhouse where water damage can be very costly not only to my own property but also to the adjacent units around me. I know this firsthand when my neighbors water heater leaked and damaged our drywall and carpet. Most water damage start out undetected and almost invisible behind walls and appliances such as refs and washers. So one way of getting ahead of the game is to get informed and stop the problem right away as soon as it occurred. These automated valves are perfect for the job. Dont find out in the hard and costly way. Get these early warning/prevention system now. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourThankfully have not had a real life incident. :) Good investment if you have washer dryer above your living room.

> 24 hourPackage is well presented and contains all the bits you should need to install it. Installation was straightforward and on testing seemed to work fine. Just rememeber to close your valves before testing if you havent connected to machine as they will open. Star removed for app, its not great and was a pain to setup. It also keeps sending notifications when it connects to wifi. I dont care, i only want a notification if there is a leak. Its quite annoying. You dont need app to use this, will work fine without.

> 24 hourSo we havent had any flooding yet, but i did test it on install and it seemed to be working great. It was very easy to install, and they even included in this kit the extra outlet adaptor that I would need since my laundry room only has a plug for the washer and dryer. That was a super nice touch, as I thought when I opened it, oh $%!%!@, I am going to have to go to the store now and get the adaptor before the laundry installation guy shows up in an hour. The laundry installer guy seemed to think it was a good idea, for what its worth. My laundry room is essentially an adapted closet, so this is SUPER useful in allowing me to turn off the water before going on vacation, as I would not be able to reach the taps otherwise.

> 24 hourI bought over 4 years ago and it has saved the day about 4 times, the last one tonight which made me think to write a review. I totally forget about it usually and its been several years since it last went off, but it went off tonight. Clogged drainage and Im in an apartment building on 19th floor with woods floors.
