> 3 dayI purchased this product at the end of February. It was working fine and everything was great until this morning. I attempted to do a load of laundry and my washer alerted me that no water was flowing. I checked the alarm and it was off for some reason (there was not a leak and hoses were fine). All lights were off on the alarm. I pushed the reset button and nothing happened. I unplugged the alarm and plugged it into another outlet and it worked for a second and then kept tripping the GFI and then it finally just died. The frustrating thing is when it broke it shut the water off so no matter what we had to pull out the stacking washer and dryer from a tight space so it took us over an hour to pull them out and unhook the alarm connections to then do a direct hookup with no alarm protection. What is the warranty on this thing and to be honest I dont even want it anymore as why was it tripping the breaker (not safe) and I dont trust it anymore. 100.00 bucks down the drain I am not happy

Greater than one weekEasy to install! Great protection and peace of mind for my 2nd floor laundry room. I am a former insurance adjuster and have seen the damage that can happen when there is a leak in a 2nd floor laundry room. I always buy the upgraded braided metal hoses but even those have a warning that they need to be changed yearly. Who does that? Not me. Also great that with a push of a button the water can be shut off to washer before I leave on vacation. Great product!!

> 3 daySeems to work well when tested with a small amount of water. There must be some internal rechargeable battery that shuts off water if the device loses power, which is a nice feature. The valve boxes stick out quite a bit, and I had to trim some plastic at the top of my laundry faucet box to get them to fit. Besides the main washer, we have a pedestal washer and a steam dryer, which means that there are a total of 3 Ys, 7 water hoses, and 14 washers connecting everything together, so this is nice to have as reassurance in case something leaks.

> 3 dayI bought this less than a year ago. It goes off intermittently without any water leak and will not reset. I have no idea what triggers this thing. There is no override so my wife cannot do laundry when it thinks it has detected water. This last time it alarmed, it was 3 days before it would finally reset and we were unable to do laundry, as it closes the valves and is near impossible to get to in my situation. I contacted the company and they told me to pay to ship it back to them so they can look at the unit. Once again, it is a huge job to get to the valves in my setup so I could remove it. Then they want me to pay to ship it to them. I thought maybe they would send a new sensor or some other easy solution for the customer. But no. Id look for other options. This thing isnt worth the hassle and certainly not worth this price.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised. Downgraded it to 4 Stars because poorly written instructions caused water all over the floor; which had to be mopped up. Connecting power immediately opens the valves. Did not have hoses connected. No Drill size stated for drywall anchor. Had to find size by slowly increasing drill size. Used 1/4 drill and was nice and tight, but anchor still stripped (see photos). Another reason we downgraded it to four stars is that screws intended to hold the unit tight to the wall are partially threaded. They need to be fully threaded. Could never get the screw down enough to hold the unit tight to the wall. The drywall anchor started to spin in the wall. We ended up with two holes in the wall from removing the anchor. Then went up 1 inch to install the unit, to hide the holes, and used our own screws. Before purchasing the unit call their customer service. They could not answer some questions. With all that said, its doing what we needed it to do. The cheap water valves that the Builder installed have rusted opened several years ago. When I ask for help from a friend who was a plumber he said the valves had been soldered on. Would have to rip out the drywall and completely replace the Box. We were using brass Garden hose shut offs because our plumber friend said its working it was a better solution than ripping out the wall; until one night one of the shut offs burst. Had to run and turn off the main. The hoses have been directly hooked up to the open valves for a few years. Just ordered a new washing machine and dryer set and ordered this unit not only to detect leaks but to be replacement valves and to have a water shut-off. Its only been installed for half a day and this unit appears to be working as it is intended. We intend to use the vacation mode to turn off the valves when were finished doing laundry to remove the pressure from the hoses. Because we have the option of turning the water pressure off when not in use we could have stayed with the standard rubber hose, but opted for the stainless steel braid reinforced washing machine hose. It was only a $5 up charge. As you can see in the up loaded pics, they just fit side by side in our laundry room box. Havent zip-tied or routed the wires yet. Will do that when we take out the old washer and dryer the weekend before the new washer and dryer are to be delivered. And thoroughly clean behind and under the washer and dryer. *** update *** 26 Dec 2018. The first controller the LEDs were acting up only after 3 days with both the orange and the green LEDs on at the same time. Called customer service. They said unit was defective and to call Amazon for replacement. Amazon sent advance replacement unit. Switched out the controller and everything has been good for 4 weeks. Returned the other unit right away (otherwise we would have been charged for the second unit). Unfortunately, the new washer that was delivered was defective and we had to put it into the garage and place the old washer back in its place. Waiting for them to bring replacement washer. Thats life sometimes!

> 3 dayI spent a ton of time installing this only to find out I need a dedicated 2.4Ghz connection to get it to work. Every other device in my house automatically connects to the 2.4 radioband without an issue but this device won’t. This was according to the rep I talked to. My internet company and router can’t split the bands so I have to undo all my hard work and return it. Such a bummer.

> 3 dayThis device is amazing. It works just like promised. This can definitely save you’re walls and floor if a hose or pump started leaking. Soon as water touches the sensor the alarm goes off and the valves immediately shut off. It even has WiFi and an app for your mobile device to let you know of a problem
