> 3 dayThe unit was installed for the directions exactly. When I installed the hot water shut off valve I noticed it was slightly loose. I ran the test for the instructions and there was no leaks and everything worked normally. 30 seconds after I started a load the wall side threaded adapter separated from the hot water shut-off valve completely. On closer inspection it appears to be held together with a c ring. So its not actually part of the shut-off valve. 140 degree hot water squirted out at me under 80 psi. By failing at this location the device itself could not shut off the hot water that was spraying out. This cause physical injury and property damage. This design flaw needs to be addressed by the manufacturer!

> 3 dayAs an earlier review stated, the packaging and instructions are very clear. It was easy enough to install. The problem came after I plugged it in. The instructions explain how the Test, Vacation, and Reset buttons work. I pressed the Test button, got a single beep and all the lights went out. After that there was no more response. I tried unplugging it, waiting, and plugging it back in. No lights, no sound, nothing. A slight ozone smell from the controller, I assume some electrical component failed. While it wasnt hard to install, it was annoying to have to turn around and uninstall everything and box it up to send back. I would order a replacement, but if something could fail that easily Im hesitant to put faith in the device to product the home from flooding. I hope my experience was an isolated issue.

> 3 dayThis just saved me paying for water damage to my apartment and probably the ones below mine. Some seal in my washer went bad one afternoon in a fairly new washer and this device turned off the water just like it was supposed to. The alarm went off (never had a false alarm) and was loud. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to have had this product.

> 3 dayInstalled this with front loading clothes washer (stacked) on second floor in 2019. In 2022, we had a lot of water coming from soap dispenser drawer (drain for the drawer was blocked), water all over the floor and through the ceiling on the first floor bath below. Not a peep from the sensor. Last week, the alarm started going off, but it did not close the valves and the sensor on the floor was bone dry. We finished the load of laundry. It wont reset, we unplugged it and will take it out, waste of money.

> 3 dayI brought this product in April 2022 for a difficult to access stacked second floor washer/dryer. Following a repair issue 12/2121, the washer drain hose became dislodged, and the device detected water on the floor, properly shutting off the water. I am grateful that it worked, however, the valves will not reopen. The washer shut off with a low flow error message. I have taken the unit out of service, disconnected the wifi component, extensively dried the sensor, but the solenoids are stuck closed. So, in summary, the product worked ONCE, then became useless. Although I understand it prevented a costly leak repair, for the money, I would expect this product to reset and continue to work more than once.

> 3 dayI spent a ton of time installing this only to find out I need a dedicated 2.4Ghz connection to get it to work. Every other device in my house automatically connects to the 2.4 radioband without an issue but this device won’t. This was according to the rep I talked to. My internet company and router can’t split the bands so I have to undo all my hard work and return it. Such a bummer.

> 3 dayThese things work. If there is even the slightest drip a buzzer goes off. I thought they were a waste of money, but my husband insisted on buying them, and theyve proven to be worth every penny!

> 3 dayTo many false alarms, and after a year I can no longer reset to device.

> 3 dayA quality item with everything needed to hook up. Valves were closed until pushing the test button and then the water started flowing. Wires could be a bit longer but not a big deal. The washing machine can flood the laundry room quickly even when you are nearby. We have had one flood while at home and one while we were not. Not anymore. Will still turn off the house water when we leave for more than a day but will have one less thing to worry about with these two systems in place.
