Very disappointed with this product, the lens motor stopped working after three months and I had to spend quite a bit getting it repaired. Would definitely not recommend buying from this same source again.

I am using this with a Nikon D7200 camera body. The build quality is excellent. It is weather resistant. It focuses quickly. I get good, sharp results. Lens flare is not bad. I find that I use this lens 90% (or more) of the time rather than the kit zoom lens or the 50mm lens I have. The bad: I get bad results using manual focus. There is no distance marking on the lens to assist manually focusing (typically needed when light levels are very low). The feel of manually focusing this lens is horrible compared to what I expect from vintage manual focus lenses. Part of my difficulty using manual focus has to do with the camera body, which has no focusing prism. But the lens contributes a lot to the manual focus problems. So it loses 1 star in my rating.

Wanted a relatively fast lens with a field of vision similar to the human eye, but didnt want to pay a fortune. Got all of that with this lens. I know there are better lenses, but this one fits my needs as a beginner SLR photographer.

Fantastic lens which produces great photos time and item again. great Bokeh too. If you want a nice cheap lens to walk around with then Id recommend this time and time again.

One of the best values around for Nikon DX shooters. Fast and accurate focus, light weight and excellent optics. Theres only slight CA under some conditions but you need to look for it. If you want a great walk around prime for your DX Nikon just buy it.
