i am new to the photography game been doing it less then a year... but from what i can tell it works great in low light, does good brokeh, nice clear sharp images. small lens and makes you more interactive with your camera as its a single focus being no zoom or anything.. again im new too the game but form what i can tell you cant beat the price

Ich war lange am Überlegen ob ich doch dieses etwas günstigere Objekiv kaufen soll, da ich schon ein sehr gutes Zoomobjektiv besitze. Letzten endes habe ich es mir es dann doch gekauft und bin damit auch sehr zufrieden. Die Bilder sind in einer guten Qualität und völlig ausreichen scharf. Klar bei genauem ranzoomen merkt man dann doch ein paar Mängel bei der Qualität, was ich aber völlig übertrieben finde dieses zu bemängeln (bei solch einem Preis). Die Verarbeitung ist auch gut, wirkt jedoch mit dem Kunststoff etwas billig, was jedoch täuscht. Einen Stern abzug gibt es dafür da es gelegentlich vorkommt, dass das Objektiv manchmal nicht richtig scharf stellt. Dies kam bis jetzt aber eher selten vor.

Love this lens for my Nikon D3400. This camera is an auto crop camera so this lens works as a 55mm on my camera. This is my go to lens for every shoot!

I ordered this lens to help a friend out at a wedding. This lens was great!! The pictures turned out great and I love how you can use auto focus or switch to manual focus!

I bought the lens to get good pictures of my kids. This lens is all you need. I am not a professional photographer, and i got tired of spending $$$ on photos. This is a great investment, it is worth the money. It is so easy to use just point and shot. I am constantly taking photos of my kids and family. I get the same result of a pro. great in low light so for those indoor plays, rehearsals etc.

We have several lenses for our Nikon D3100, but quite honestly, this lens is almost permanently on it. This lens is simply amazing for portrait photographs and performs well even in low light situations. Since the birth of our children we have taken the most beautiful photographs of our children using this lens. Its also fine for landscapes, although with a limited field of view obviously.

Huge aperture at an economical price! I really miss the VR though that I have on my other Nikon lenses. This lens is best suited for tripod use or fast shutter speeds.
