> 3 dayit’s a great monitor. No issues with the monitor at all. Everything works well. Be careful pulling off the plastic tape around the edges. With shipping, it was the worst experience ever and a huge headache to deal with. Purchased during cyber monday and package with monitor was never received. With the help of many good amazon representatives, I was able to reorder the monitor and finally got it after a long time waiting. Definitely worth the wait. Perfect for an average gamer.

02-06-2025Gorgeous. Must use a DisplayPort to get the most out of this monitor. The only downside is the speakers. If you intended on using them, don’t. They’re silent and garbage.

> 3 dayI ordered this for my gaming pc to replace my 4k monitor (its good but wanted faster frames). I like it and now run 2 of them and get a bigger display area and more frames.

> 3 dayI’ve had the monitor for only a day now, but I love it. The picture quality is great, the display is buttery smooth, and set up was easy. I have 2 complaints, but I would still recommend this monitor at this price point (25% off, at $210). First complaint is brightness. It doesn’t get very bright, and it’s very noticeable with a second monitor next to it. This isn’t a huge deal for me, but it’s something worth considering. Second complaint is G-Sync. The description for this product says it’s “G-Sync Compatible”. This monitor does not have G-Sync. It has AMD’s Free Sync. If you have a 10 series or higher graphics card from Nvidia, there’s no problem. But if you have a 900 series or lower, you won’t be able to use G-Sync. I thought this was a bit of false advertising, as Free Sync isn’t mentioned anywhere. With that being said, I haven’t seen any screen tearing, so I can’t complain about performance. I am using a GTX 960 graphics card. If you have a 10 series or higher graphics card, I recommend this monitor 100%. If you don’t, look elsewhere before deciding on this one. This really isn’t a bad option at all though

> 3 dayThis was my first monitor upgrade from a monitor Ive had for about 13 years. Its a gorgeous display, love the 144hz refresh rate. Awesome monitor for the price. Pictured on the left in the photo of my setup! Plus, I have a bias towards Acer monitors since my first one that lasted me so long had no intention of breaking as far as I can tell despite daily, multi-hour use for more than a decade. Great quality monitors from Acer. I always recommenced them first over any other monitor brand. Edit 12/9/2020: I still think that overall, the monitor is very nice, but ive had issues both with the screen displaying strangely for seemingly no reason [it splits down the center and one half is offset; turning the monitor off and on again resolves this issue] and I absolutely HATE that the off switch isnt just press it and the monitor turns off.. No, you have to press and hold the stupid thing for anywhere between 5 and 10 seconds, and sometimes it seems like it doesnt register my press at all. Im never sure if Im pressing it down right until Ive wasted 5-10 seconds waiting to see if its turning off. I dont know if this is just a thing with the monitor I got, but if its a design decision, it was really stupid one. It makes the half second act of turning off my displays at night take 10 times as long for no reason. Pressing it once doesnt even serve a function, so I really dont know why its like this. Furthermore, ive had some uneven lighting develop behind the panel which is very distracting on any dark scenes happening on the display. Its a fine monitor for the price, but it seems like quality assurance isnt there and some design decisions for its functions were brainless. Im marking it at 4 stars, but its more like 3.8 out of 5. Id love to know if these issues are because my unit is defective, or because the monitor was designed stupidly. Edit 6/18/2021: I finally replaced this monitor with the LG 27GL850 - a very glamorous upgrade indeed! The backlight bleed on this monitor, now that I have a better one to compare it to, was rather bad. Its surely manageable for the amount I spent on it originally - but its maybe better to save up for something a little better! I loved this monitor of course, but the backlight flickering I could never figure out how to fix was a huge drawback.

> 3 dayFour stars on the screen quality because there seems to be a dead pixel. But I rarely notice it an have not contacted the company about it.
