Gorgeous. Must use a DisplayPort to get the most out of this monitor. The only downside is the speakers. If you intended on using them, don’t. They’re silent and garbage.

This product is amazing at 2K gaming 165 Hertz this product is everything you need if youre an intense gamer and would like to upgrade your setup however if you are like me and receive a damaged product good luck getting your money back or getting an RMA for the item I contacted this company on the 3rd of December and they told me that it would take 7 to 10 days to get an RMA for the item and that we would be waiting on Acer to approve the item I sent product pictures of the damaged item to the company and then proceeded to wait until today when they finally said the RMA would be able to be sent out well I took it upon myself to go through the actual manufacturer Acer and contacted them I was able to create a case and get an RMA label within two days thanks to Acer and also Acer was kind enough to have a prepaid shipping label so that way I could get this item sent back to the manufacturer without costing me more money that I have already spent on the product fun fact if you go through the company who sells this Alliance Supply they will make you pay for your item to be shipped back so not only do you have to pay for the item and shipping one time youll have to pay for shipping two times if its damaged and youll also have to wait 7 to 10 days for this to be complete and they will blame it on the manufacturer when this is not the case because I was able to get a case done and submitted within 24 hours and have the RMA label ready to go the next day thanks for nothing Alliance Supply you are not helpful at all.

I’ve owned these screens for about 2 years now, and I must say - they are absolutely hands down the best purchase for my gaming setup I have ever made. I am running a fairly high end system, a 3080 and equally powerful components. Most people will say that a 3080 is too powerful for 1080p, but I say that it removes the need to upgrade in the future. That being said, here are my pro’s and con’s after several years of ownership: Pros: -Great size for a 1080p. Fits perfectly on my desk (utilizing a VESA mount) -Tiny bevel on edges, making a multiple display setup perfect -144hz speaks for itself, incredibly smooth -Lots of options for color tweaking -Low ms delay, great for FPS gaming -Subtle but great curve, not too hard on your eyes -Sturdy design, no flimsy backing or bendy screen Cons: -Freesync really only works well on games that support 144hz, anything lower and it usually causes screen tear and artifacts -The white backlight can bleed through causing some black settings to look more Grey -The provided stands offer only a little range of motion, highly suggest getting a VESA compatible mount -The menu button can sometimes be a pain and not work correctly All in all I highly recommend these displays for the price. I actually ended up breaking one during a move and loved them so much that I bought a replacement.

Perfect size, outstanding colors/resolution. Bought it to pair with a new gaming computer, noticed the difference from my old HP monitor right away.

This was my first monitor upgrade from a monitor Ive had for about 13 years. Its a gorgeous display, love the 144hz refresh rate. Awesome monitor for the price. Pictured on the left in the photo of my setup! Plus, I have a bias towards Acer monitors since my first one that lasted me so long had no intention of breaking as far as I can tell despite daily, multi-hour use for more than a decade. Great quality monitors from Acer. I always recommenced them first over any other monitor brand. Edit 12/9/2020: I still think that overall, the monitor is very nice, but ive had issues both with the screen displaying strangely for seemingly no reason [it splits down the center and one half is offset; turning the monitor off and on again resolves this issue] and I absolutely HATE that the off switch isnt just press it and the monitor turns off.. No, you have to press and hold the stupid thing for anywhere between 5 and 10 seconds, and sometimes it seems like it doesnt register my press at all. Im never sure if Im pressing it down right until Ive wasted 5-10 seconds waiting to see if its turning off. I dont know if this is just a thing with the monitor I got, but if its a design decision, it was really stupid one. It makes the half second act of turning off my displays at night take 10 times as long for no reason. Pressing it once doesnt even serve a function, so I really dont know why its like this. Furthermore, ive had some uneven lighting develop behind the panel which is very distracting on any dark scenes happening on the display. Its a fine monitor for the price, but it seems like quality assurance isnt there and some design decisions for its functions were brainless. Im marking it at 4 stars, but its more like 3.8 out of 5. Id love to know if these issues are because my unit is defective, or because the monitor was designed stupidly. Edit 6/18/2021: I finally replaced this monitor with the LG 27GL850 - a very glamorous upgrade indeed! The backlight bleed on this monitor, now that I have a better one to compare it to, was rather bad. Its surely manageable for the amount I spent on it originally - but its maybe better to save up for something a little better! I loved this monitor of course, but the backlight flickering I could never figure out how to fix was a huge drawback.

I reluctantly purchased one of these monitors. I was reluctant due to negative reviews complaining of, dead pixels, cheaply made, and dead on arrival monitors. When I received it, it was immediately apparent that the monitors are rather frail. In comparison to other monitors i’ve bought which were purely for gaming, it is not very durable. After plugging it in and finding the correct ICC profile on Acer’s website, I was blown away. The quality of the picture is outstanding and colors look great. The curve is minor and didn’t take much getting used to, but makes it look very professional. •GAMING •HDMI port do not run 144hz (very common) •Displayport runs 144hz perfectly •Displayport cable which comes with monitor will run 144hz •Response time is great •Games look really good •G-Sync works great •Over Drive mode only works on HDMI, but I have found, I don’t need it. •Ghosting will occur if the settings within the monitor aren’t properly adjusted along with the ICC profile Overall I ended up very happy with this monitor despite the lack of durability. I purchased another as a result and mounting both on a dual monitor stand. It adjusts inward to compensate for the curve and it looks amazing. I don’t have a single complaint about the dual monitor setup with these monitors. Definitely a great, more affordable option for those who want to run 144hz on a budget.

Been using this PC monitor for over a month. All my games look awesome. Youll need Headset/earbuds or speakers though. 5 stars, great product & price.
