Greater than one weekSo I placed the product in the fridge let it do it’s thing, and after a month the smell is still there,I’ve cleaned my fridge so many times to see if it’s something and the odors just stay. So I’m going to say negative in this item.

> 3 dayI dont know why but my fridge and freezer started smelling like fish, even my boyfriend with a poor sniffer could smell it. I cleaned both areas out and put in a fresh baking soda box and nothing changed. I was so annoyed and embarrassed! After reading the reviews, I got two of these, put one in the fridge and one in the freezer right next to the fan and VOILA, problem solved. No odors whatsoever after a few hours. What a relief! Highly recommend.

> 3 dayKeeps the kimchi odor down in refrigerator. Somehow my husbands kimchi spills or runs down side of jar and all you can smell is the kimchi. This helps alot at reducing the smell. Has a slight chlorine odor which I dont like but its mild and the lesser of two evils. Works better than just baking soda.

> 3 dayWhere do I start? OH yea...the young man who lives in our home decided he would put a bunch of ducks, ready to be cooked, in the freezer of the motorhome and not tell us. The husband decided to unplug the motorhome for a couple of days while we were renovating the area in the yard where the RV goes. Have you ever smelled rotten ducks????? I swear on everything holy, my nose hairs burnt up and my eyebrows were singed from the smell of rotting duck carcass. After cleaning out the freezer with bleach while trying not to vomit, (and keep in mind, Im a nurse...ive smelled some pretty funky stuff) I walk away feeling pretty confident in my cleaning skills. I leave a box of baking soda in there, just for good measure. One week later I open the freezer to do my weekly inspection of everything that doesnt get used on a daily basis...and sweet baby Jesus!!! The smell coming from the freezer has now permeated the fridge....gag...I clean it with bleach again, making sure to spray the cracks along the back and sides. Walked away a little less confident than the first time but hopeful. 3 days later I open the freezer...you guessed it...gag...so I scroll through amazon researching freezer stinks and NonScents Refrigerator Deoderizer pops up....well, lets try that. Goodness...the smell of death has left the freezer!!!! I put my whole head in there and sniffed around to make sure. Then I made the young man child who started all this come take a big sniff too...all good. After 2 weeks of having this in the freezer there is no trace of funky duck left!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Now, I wonder if this stuff would work on the young man childs shoes?

Greater than one weekI accidentally left something in my fridge when I left home for several months (the refrig was kept running). When I returned - EWWWW! I think it was the stuff left in my crisper that rotted and left a very sharp, acrid odor. Worse yet, the odor even penetrated the platic hose that supplies the filtered water dispenser and ice maker in the door. UGH! After reading about people having the odor of rotten meat completely removed from their fridge, I was hopeful this would work. I washed every part of the fridge I could and put this Deodorizer in the main cabinet. And a tray of baking soda too. It is now 2 months later and I estimate only 50% of the odor has disappeared. I still have to double wrap susceptible items like butter, etc. I am very disappointed!

> 3 dayI am so glad I found these deodorizers. They are heavy duty, long lasting, and the fully enclosed packaging means there’s no risk of spilled baking soda in your fridge. I use them for about six months and then replace. They do an amazing job controlling odors!

> 3 dayI have a mini fridge in my bedroom and I had put away a pint of milk but it had accidentally spilled. I thought I had cleaned it all up, but the smell a few days later said otherwise. Baking soda wasn’t cutting it. And it came to me not even wanting to open the fridge at all. On my search on Amazon this product came up and I thought the price was worth the experiment. So I stuck it in the fridge, and even then I was hesitant to open the fridge a few hours later lol but when I did I was genuinely surprised how well and how quick it had worked! It does have a very faint chlorine kind of smell, but I’m very sensitive to smells so I’m sure to any other person it would be undetectable. Even then, I prefer that clean smell than rotten milk! Also it says it supposed to last 6 months! That’s so much better than remembering to replace baking soda every 30 days- especially for a forgetful person like me.

> 3 dayLove this so much! I was always so careful with my refrigerator, but I kept having to clean it a lot because of any small product it took a bad scent. And I had never thought of searching for something to eliminate the bad odor. Then suddenly I said: “Amazon must have what I am looking for!” And they did. Really love it!
