NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizer (2-Pack) - Outperforms Baking Soda - Fridge and Freezer Odor Eliminator

I was skeptical of this product, my fridge smelled like a seafood market on a hot summer day. I had used all the old school methods of removing odor i.e. cleaning from top to bottom, baking soda, etc. After searching many products on Amazon I found this one, read the reviews and it seemed like the best one. I placed the item in my fridge and hoped for the best. After a couple days there didnt seem to be much of a change so I reached out to the seller and they informed me it could take a couple of weeks on stronger odors so I waited.... I was not let down that I did, one morning when I went to get the cream for my morning coffee I noticed something startling, almost over night the smell went from being noticeable to gone. All in all this is a great product and a great support team who stands by their product and will reply quickly and promptly to ensure a happy customer.

I am nearing 8 months pregnant and have had the nose of a bloodhound for the entire pregnancy. Everything has a smell and makes me nauseous. The dogs stink, the refrigerator stinks, my husband stinks, plastic bags have a stink, every single food stinks, even scotch tape has a stink. Our refrigerator is less than a year old, and yet after taking it completely apart and scrubbing every single shelf and crevice 4 times, I can still smell across the house or from another floor when someone cracks the door of the fridge open. For months, I have been gagging anytime someone gets a snack unless I wait 5 minutes in the garage for it to air out. Less than 12 hours with this deodorizer, and it is a literal miracle. For the first time since June, I can INHALE inside my own house and even in my own refrigerator without the smell of some unknown food triggering the nausea. There is no smell--an absence of smell. I dont know what kind of black magic this is, but 50 stars to this product and I am loyal for life.

I accidentally left something in my fridge when I left home for several months (the refrig was kept running). When I returned - EWWWW! I think it was the stuff left in my crisper that rotted and left a very sharp, acrid odor. Worse yet, the odor even penetrated the platic hose that supplies the filtered water dispenser and ice maker in the door. UGH! After reading about people having the odor of rotten meat completely removed from their fridge, I was hopeful this would work. I washed every part of the fridge I could and put this Deodorizer in the main cabinet. And a tray of baking soda too. It is now 2 months later and I estimate only 50% of the odor has disappeared. I still have to double wrap susceptible items like butter, etc. I am very disappointed!

After 8h smell went away

It initially makes the whole fridge smell like bleach, but it eliminated the lingering kimchi smell in my fridge. 3 months later and it’s no longer covering it up.

The compressor in our fridge broke, so our fridge was not working for something like two full weeks. If youve ever had a fridge break, then you know there is an awful, strong, old fridge smell that permeates the entire fridge and freezer. I couldnt open the fridge without gagging. On top of that my husband left meat in the freezer, so two weeks of non-refrigerated meat. Needless to say the smell was rank - we thought it would go away when the fridge was working again and it did not. So, now we had a working fridge we werent using b/c the smell seeped into food, ice, drinks, whatever was in the fridge/freezer. We have a $2K fridge and we were looking to buy another fridge b/c it was unusable. I figured wth Ill try a few scent things off Amazon and see if any work. I got this one and then another (forget the name, but its like a bean bag type thing). The smell was gone within a day and I was so happy. We can use our fridge now and it doesnt smell. Also, we tried baking soda previous to using this and the baking soda did nothing to that smell. When I first opened it, it did have sort of a chemical smell, but I didnt smell it after putting it in the fridge.

I bought a used fridge. It had to be the kind of fridge that looked good on a quick visit, but when I got it to it’s home, I realized that the fridge had to have been owned by Dexter... or some other psychopath. The smell from inside was enough to scare the neighbors away and police started to slow down when they passed the apartment. I even saw a flock of vultures hanging around looking for the dead body. I mean, how could i pass up this great fridge, priced so well... if I had any only known that it had likely housed a dead body... or several dead bodies before I owned it. If I could only buy a time machine on Amazon as well. Well, I tried Baking Soda; didn’t even touch the smell. Neighbors were starting to watch me as I came and went. Luckily a quick Amazon search turned up this jewel. I threw it in the fridge and *boom* problem solved. It took a few days to remedy the smell, and I had to throw the baking soda away (only to have my garbage can smell like a slaughter house from the dead rotting carcass smell it had absorbed). I needed up having to move the NonScents to the freezer to absorb the smell in there too. All I can say is this little jewel had solved my problem and now I am able to store my most delicious foods in that fridge. Highly recommended!

This took about three days to remove the smell but it works! Our landlord replaced our broken fridge with one that works but smelled like something had rotted, even when cleaned multiple times. Would definitely buy again.

I bought these because I dont like having an open baking soda box in my fridge. And in my area cant find the stick-ons for baking soda for my fridge, so I purchased these NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizers. I will say I was leary on it at first, but these are waaaay better than the baking soda brand. Highly impressed. And spread the word to my friends and family to purchase these instead.

These really do work. We had left some uncooked chicken in our fridge for about a month. When returning home the smell was awful. Luckily the package was sealed and still in plastic store bag. But not lucky enough. It smelled to high heaven.. I did what everyone on the internet suggested too. The vinager wash, the baking soda on each shelf, kept the door open. Wiped it down with lemon water. Nothing helped. Finally after 2 weeks of this I looked on Amazon (because where else right?) and found these. Received them yesterday and put one in the refrigerator side and one on the freezer side - today hardly any smell. In less than 24 hours. And it really did smell bad. Nothing but pop them out of the package and put inside frigerator. I was almost thinking Id have to purchase a new fridge. Please give these a try when all else fails. I write reviews because I make purchases from Amazon based on others reviews. So glad I bought these. Amazing!!!
