NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizer (2-Pack) - Outperforms Baking Soda - Fridge and Freezer Odor Eliminator

When I first opened the package I thought I had made a mistake, it smelled like chlorine. But I had this weird chemical smell in my fridge and freezer that was being absorbed by my food. So my ice cubes tasted funny and I ended up throwing away a bunch of food. I have scrubbed my refrigerator out, multiple times and I have no idea where the odor is coming from. I placed these units took about a day or so and the chemical smell in my fridge is gone, the units no longer smell like chlorine. I have had this in my fridge for approx 1 month and it’s working really well. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

I am a big fan of NonScent’s litter deodorizer and stain remover, and now this fridge deodorizer. All the smells accumulated in my fridge for years were gone within a couple of hours after I placed this deodorizer inside. A farewell to baking soda.

I recently had an incident where my freezer thawed out and 15lbs of fish spoiled in it. Causing a very bad oder that several weeks of baking soda as well as a simple green scrub could not handle or remove. I was skeptical about this product but, decided to take a chance and much to my surprise it actually worked. Not only has the oder been eliminated, it made it happen in less than 2 days. There is a slight chlorine scent but, its much better than the smell of spoiled fish. I will do a long-term review 6 months from now.

So back in February Houston had a winter freeze And the entire city lost power. And of course Out of food in the refrigerator went bad. Before we could empty it out our home flooded and we lived in a hotel for four months. The fridge smelled terrible and we tried everything to get the smell out. We even had a professional come and look at it and he said that there was nothing that could be done. We were about to throw it out when we came across the the non-scented deodorizer, and it worked. We May need to buy one more for the freezer but overall it smells 100% better

This removed the terrible smell in my fridge that was stinking up the whole house every time we opened it. Some hops went bad in our freezer and the smell would not go away. Within the two hours it promised the smell was gone. Even just 30 min after it was put in the fridge the smell was minimized. I would definitely purchase again.

Short Story: This product is amazing. It cleared the rotten food smell from our refrigerator quickly and completely. Longer Story: We were evacuated from our home for a week this past summer due to wildfire, leaving behind a refrigerator full of food in a house with no power and 90 degree heat. We returned to the most awful stench of rotting food! After tossing everything, we tried every remedy we could think of to eradicate the smell from our refrigerator and freezer. Nothing worked. It was awful. I finally turned to the trusty Amazon reviewers and found this product. I am happy to say that this product far exceeded my expectations, and if we are ever in this situation again I would immediately buy this product again.

Had an open bag of seafood that was making our ice smell/taste funny. The cartridge worked within the hour for the smell and once we finished the bad ice the new ice came out tasting fine again

It initially makes the whole fridge smell like bleach, but it eliminated the lingering kimchi smell in my fridge. 3 months later and it’s no longer covering it up.

O. M. G... My fridge doesnt smell anymore. Well, I had bought fridge full of veggies because of the national emergency recommendation to stay home for to this coronavirus pandemic. Im an Asian and I love smelly veggies, to be honest, such as garlics, leeks, daikons, cabbages, onions...all veggies with strong smells and taste. The bad thing is that I live alone and it takes a while to consume those smelly veggies in my fridge... I started noticing that everytime I opened the fridge, the overwhelming odor spread allover and filled my kitchen and entire house like virus attack... I had to do something about it immediately. I couldnt go outside or leave my doors open because of the virus, but I would have been killed by this stinky odor if I stayed home. I didnt have time... Thank Amazon prime for such a quick delivery... I received this product this afternoon, like 4 pm, and it is 10 pm now, and I am alive!! The odor is gone!!! It had a faint smell of chlorine when I opened the bag, but it was a guarantee smell that it would work. And it did. So quickly!! It should last for 6 months, too! Im so impressed!! Thank you for saving my life and house!!! The only thing... One thing... I wish it had a suction cup or something that stick to the top inner wall of the fridge... Just a suggestion for a design improvement. But it sure does its job!
