I read all the reviews and took a chance as we had an odor in the fridge that we couldnt identify. I had cleaned out fridge, cleaned with bleach and still had the odor. This worked wonderfully and within a day the odor was gone. If youve got something you cant get rid of, it did the trick. We didnt have any issues with any chemical smells or fragrance like some had noted. A great purchase.

I have struggled with a smelly fridge for weeks and weeks . Even after cleaning it completely out , bleaching it etc . I was out of town and boom power outage and spoiled goods were left behind . I’ve tried baking soda and nothing helped . I was wasting food because my leftovers tasted bad . I received these on 9/3/21 and by 9/4/21 the odor is gone ! Yes gone lol . I am floored and so happy these last several months . I’ll never go back to baking soda , I’m telling everyone I know that this is a miracle! When I adopt my cat I’m going to try their litter deodorizer I’m sure it’s just as amazing.

When I first opened the package I thought I had made a mistake, it smelled like chlorine. But I had this weird chemical smell in my fridge and freezer that was being absorbed by my food. So my ice cubes tasted funny and I ended up throwing away a bunch of food. I have scrubbed my refrigerator out, multiple times and I have no idea where the odor is coming from. I placed these units took about a day or so and the chemical smell in my fridge is gone, the units no longer smell like chlorine. I have had this in my fridge for approx 1 month and it’s working really well. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

I had a odor somewhere in the fridge and freezer that was driving us crazy. It smelled like someone was storing some skunk weed in the fridge (there was none). We emptied out both the fridge and freezer and cleaned every surface with Clorox wipes twice! We isolated every item in coolers and checked them for scents. We emptied the ice tray. We absolutely could not find the cause. It drove us crazy for 2 months. Finally my wife found these on Amazon and convinced me to give them a try. We put one in the fridge and one in the freezer and we waited. And waited. And waited. After about a month we noticed the smell starting to diminish just a tiny bit. Now, three months later, the smell is gone. I did not think it was going to take so long. I am not sure if maybe the smell just gave up eventually or if these things finally worked. Either way, the smell is gone so I guess they get 4 stars. -1 star for taking too long.

I accidentally left something in my fridge when I left home for several months (the refrig was kept running). When I returned - EWWWW! I think it was the stuff left in my crisper that rotted and left a very sharp, acrid odor. Worse yet, the odor even penetrated the platic hose that supplies the filtered water dispenser and ice maker in the door. UGH! After reading about people having the odor of rotten meat completely removed from their fridge, I was hopeful this would work. I washed every part of the fridge I could and put this Deodorizer in the main cabinet. And a tray of baking soda too. It is now 2 months later and I estimate only 50% of the odor has disappeared. I still have to double wrap susceptible items like butter, etc. I am very disappointed!

I moved into an apartment and the refrigerator smelled HORRIBLE. When I opened up the freezer, it made the entire apartment stink. I tried baking soda and it made the smell slightly better after about a day, but a day after that the stink would be back at 100%. It was so bad, I was not comfortable putting any food or drinks in there. After reading the reviews, I tried this product. I figured with a smell this bad, I better get the 2 pack and be prepared for it to take a week to resolve. I received them the day after I ordered them, and put them both in the freezer. Within 12 hours, the smell was completely gone! I dont write many reviews, but I had tell you all that if you have a stubborn stink that wont go away with cleaning and baking soda, definitely give these a try. Well worth the price! When I opened the packages, there was a slight chlorine-like smell. It wasnt overpowering and I dont smell it in the freezer, but its worth noting. Im thrilled with this purchase and will eagerly recommend it to any one else in a similar situation.

Its scent free and does not clump up like baking soda lasts about 6 months which is a much longer time than most. Have been using it for several years now and am very pleased. Also has a place for you to date so you can keep track of when placed.

We had a FOUL odor coming from our fridge and freezer. It smelled like a dead animal. We tried everything from deep cleaning, baking soda, etc. Nothing worked until I bought two of these units and set one up in the fridge and freezer. Within 24 the smell was completely gone. Highly recommend!

Put in the fridge yesterday and this morning clean and fresh when I opened the door. Had cleaned and wiped down but the Oder remained but gone now

I am nearing 8 months pregnant and have had the nose of a bloodhound for the entire pregnancy. Everything has a smell and makes me nauseous. The dogs stink, the refrigerator stinks, my husband stinks, plastic bags have a stink, every single food stinks, even scotch tape has a stink. Our refrigerator is less than a year old, and yet after taking it completely apart and scrubbing every single shelf and crevice 4 times, I can still smell across the house or from another floor when someone cracks the door of the fridge open. For months, I have been gagging anytime someone gets a snack unless I wait 5 minutes in the garage for it to air out. Less than 12 hours with this deodorizer, and it is a literal miracle. For the first time since June, I can INHALE inside my own house and even in my own refrigerator without the smell of some unknown food triggering the nausea. There is no smell--an absence of smell. I dont know what kind of black magic this is, but 50 stars to this product and I am loyal for life.
