Dont be discouraged if this product doesnt work overnight. It takes awhile. I had a terrible odor emanating from my fridge. Took everything out, tossed food and washed everything down. Nothing helped. Even had a repair technician in to see if he could advise. He checked for any openings for critters and for any type of spills that could cause the smell. He had no answers, other than telling me I had a big problem. I tried baking soda with NO results. So, as a last resort, I tried this deodorant product. I placed one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer. Both areas have circulating fans. It has taken its time, but has started to work well. It has taken roughly two weeks to get results, but they are positive. I will be ordering more just to be sure this odor NEVER comes back. Sometimes things are worth the money you spend on them. This is one of them.

It initially makes the whole fridge smell like bleach, but it eliminated the lingering kimchi smell in my fridge. 3 months later and it’s no longer covering it up.

The refrigerator in my friend’s camp shut off well the refrigerator/freezer was full of groceries. He did not know it had shut off until a week later, in 90 degree weather ! Needless to say, the refrigerator was so gag worthy he thought about throwing the refrigerator and contents out. But he cleaned and scrubbed it. He then used bleach… still smelled , baking soda … still smelled, vinegar… still smelled. Got these and the smell is gone except in the freezer where there had been shrimp and meat. However the smell in the freezer is almost gone. I bought a stainless odor reducer for the freezer and with this and the stainless the freezer is much better.

After reading the rotten duck smell review, I decided to buy this product. I am so glad that I did! When we moved in, our fridge and freezer smelled absolutely horrendous. I thought I cleaned it pretty well, but over the next few weeks, our food started tasting like the disgusting smell of our fridge/freezer. It was awful and I avoided eating perishable food because of it. My hopes that the odor would go away were dashed, and I realized that we would need to bring in some heavy artillery for this awful stench. I followed the advice of the rotten duck smell reviewer and did bleach my fridge and freezer before adding these deodorizers in. For the first few days, all I could smell was the bleach I had used to clean the fridge and freezer with, but not even a week later at this point, I open my fridge and freezer and smell... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I highly recommend these, and I would buy multiple. We have two in the freezer alone. Buy them!!!

Moved into a new apartment and the fridge had a horrible revolting smell that just would not go away. I tried everything from half a dozen boxes of baking soda to straight up bleach...with 5 or 6 other products in between. Nothing touched this stench. After an HOUR of throwing this in the fridge, the smell was gone completely. HIGHLY recommend

So back in February Houston had a winter freeze And the entire city lost power. And of course Out of food in the refrigerator went bad. Before we could empty it out our home flooded and we lived in a hotel for four months. The fridge smelled terrible and we tried everything to get the smell out. We even had a professional come and look at it and he said that there was nothing that could be done. We were about to throw it out when we came across the the non-scented deodorizer, and it worked. We May need to buy one more for the freezer but overall it smells 100% better

We moved a couple of months back and noticed right away that the fridge in our new house had a bit of an odor to it. We figured a good cleaning would take care of it. After a couple of thorough cleanings in the first month of living in the house, we hadnt gained any ground on the smell. We tried boxes of baking soda, DampRid, and activated charcoal. As a last resort, I spent four hours disassembling the inside of the refrigerator (see pictures) in an attempt to do a deep clean. I removed foam pieces and soaked and scrubbed them in the bathtub. I removed gaskets that seemed to be especially smelly and replaced them with trim intended for sealing exterior doors. I was very frustrated the next day when the fridge odor was obviously still present. I then stumbled upon the NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizer product and thought Id give it a whirl. I didnt notice any improvement a couple of hours after installing it after work one night. The next morning I thought the fridge smelled better, but also thought that I could be imagining that. Later that night, I was convinced that it was really working. The smell continued to dissipate over a couple of days and was completely undetectable to my wife and I after about 5 days! One review that I had read on this product mentioned a chlorine smell being imparted to nearby food. We have not noticed this at all. Upon opening the package initially, I did notice a bit of a chlorine smell, but that was it. I do not smell anything chlorine-y in the fridge. Id highly recommend this product.

OMG THIS THING ACTUALLY WORKS!!! I moved into my new apartment 2 months ago. When I first moved in I opened the freezer and fridge to sanitize since I have no idea if the previous tenants did, and boy oh boy when I opened it up... I got smacked in the face with the smell of old moldy food! I bleached it and decided to wait a day. Tried again the next day and the smell was still there. I bought some baking soda and put it in the fridge thinking it would solve it. Welp, it DIDN’T! Tried charcoal, tried taking bits apart and deep cleaning them and nothing worked. I got the 2 pack and as soon as they came this morning I placed one in the fridge and one in my freezer. In an hour I noticed a difference. Went out to run some errands and when I got back home tonight I opened the fridge and noticed I couldn’t smell anything coming from it! Thank you sweet baby Jesus IT WORKED!!!
