NOW Supplements, Quercetin with Bromelain, Balanced Immune System*, 120 Veg Capsules

I suspect I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome - I have chronic hives, migraines, runny nose, anxiety/jitters, brain fog, etc. I received this on 1/14/20. I took 2 capsules twice daily. Didnt seem to have much affect, or if it did, seemed to wear off by midday. On 1/17/20 in midday, the wearing off was very apparent, as I was having caffeine buzz like jitters. I took 25mg Benadryl and it was resolved. The next day I experienced the same wearing off jitters at the same time of day. I decided to try an extra dose of quercetin (2 caps) instead of Benadryl. The quercetin had the same effect as the Benadryl without the drowsiness!! At least for a good 2 hours (as opposed to a good 4 hours with Benadryl) I did read on another quercetin manufacturers site that this may require a loading dose, meaning you have to take a lot of it at first, for up to 10 days. I have increased my dosage to 3 times/day. I may even do 4 times/day if it seems like I need it. But so far I consider this stuff gold and I will keep taking it, mainly because I have noticed a great improvement in the anxiety symptoms. I say that with quotes because it is clear this is purely physical for me, not psychological. I have very little stress in my life.

I started taking Quercertin with Bromelain for 14 months now after having one of the worse years of my life in terms of sickness. I have been a life-long allergy and asthma sufferer and have tried every possible medication available. I began allergy shots approximately 6 years ago and they have helped quite a bit. However, it seemed that after reaching the maintenance level, my body would develop new allergens and my symptoms would start to flare-up all over again. In 2010, after three sinus infections, numerous colds, ear infection that caused eustachian tube disorder and the production of never-ending-mucus, I was desperate. I began to look for herbal alternatives to my Alavert, Nasonex, Xyzal, Albuterol etc. This is when I read some reviews on this and I decided to try it. I can honestly say that it seemed it took over 3 months for me to see results. There were subtle at first... such as the production of less mucus in the morning or a decrease in the sneezing when faced with common allergens. I continued to use it and was disappointed when I got sick in the fourth month, as this is supposed to help with the immune system. My sickness only lasted 24 hours and that was last February. During the rest of the year, I was DRY, healthy and can count with one hand the number of sneezes for that year. I have not used ANY of my prescription medicines in over 7 months. My husband who has always being weary of herbal alternatives is ready to start taking it because he has seen the incredible change, especially at night when I dont make any noises anymore. I have been without Quercertin for over 3 weeks now as it seems it was out of stock when I ordered it in December. I was able to re-order and Im expecting it this week. The reason Im writing this is that yesterday I began to feel sick with a runny nose and sneezing...not a cold but an allergy flare-up. Now I know that if I had been taking this stuff, this would not have happened. I am sold on Quercertin and I wanted to share but it has really changed my life. I continue my allergy shots and the Quercertin and that is all I take. Im the healthy one in the family now!!

I bought this to add to my 3 dogs food as one has been itchy lately and another is a new rescue pup who had not previously been outside and being 7 pounds is low to the ground. She began to develop cherry eye, and after a few hundred$$$ at vet and no good news, I started gently massaging her eye and worked on allergens- this product and a probiotic and within days her cherry eye shrunk and disappeared. All dogs respond well to this supplement ( I open the capsule and sprinkle on their food)! Great value for what you receive in this product!

I have been plagued by almost constant earaches for at least 10 years. Most of the time I wouldnt even bother going to the doctor for them. When I did he would prescribe an antibiotic and the earache would temporarily go away, but then be right back in a week or two. Finally he decided I had sinus problems and prescribed a couple of medicines that helped somewhat, but still did not eliminate my ear problem, so he advised that I should go on two more prescribed drugs and they would probably take care of the problem. . . Reading many many articles in the public press, and a few scientific studies, etc. piqued my interest and I ordered my first bottle about 10 weeks ago. The initial effect was immediate. Really within minutes my sinuses began opening. . .within days my ears stopped aching and in a few weeks my energy level had gone up to a point I hadnt had in maybe 20-30 years. Again reading on the Internet, I hadnt realized what a problem chronic sinusitis could be and I want to tell you that I never considered myself to be one who had a sinus problem. I never had any obvious signs. My nose wasnt continually stuffed up. I did not realize that I had constant drainage, etc., but chronic sinusitis can have as a symptom: great fatigue. Im afraid that my extreme enthusiasm for this product will make you think Im some sort of a nut, but since starting to take it Im walking my dog 2-4 miles per day. Ive lost considerable weight. My grand children are living with us at the moment, Ive begun to get up out of bed 2 hours earlier than I need to for my Bible devotions and to have breakfast with my grand children. I feel better than I have in years and years. I think the chronic sinusitis was like carrying around a 30 or 40 pound weight everywhere I went. It was a drag on my whole system. Maybe this wont work as well for you, but for me it literally has been a life changer. . .

I hardly ever write reviews on amazon but seeing as how many of the reviews helped me figure out what dose I needed for allergies Im going to chronicle my experience. First off this supplement is amazing. Before I started my Quercetin regiment I was taking Allegra- D 180mg, I had very severe allergies. It worked OK , but after 3 months I started having really bad ED. Yes, erectile dysfunction. As a 23 year old theres no reason for me to have ED. I also had problems sleeping, feeling tired, and being angry all the time. This was when I started looking for something different, and did some research into Quercetin. After trial and error I figured the dose that works for me (I am 220lbs) was 2 capsules in the morning 7am and 2 capsules in the afternoon 12-3pm. I also take a 10mg singular every morning. After about 3 days of getting off Allegra and starting this I had amazing results. My allergy symptoms were completely gone and I regained my manhood. Additionally I feel refreshed, and my muscles feel a lot better in general. I have a job that requires me to be extremely active and after starting this supplement I feel like it takes a lot more work for me to feel sore. Overall Im glad I made the switch . This works better than any other allergy medication Ive tried, and trust me Ive tried everything.

I have fibromyalgia, which means that my muscles and joints are very weak and often terribly sore. My knees are particularly troublesome-- after unusual physical exertion (ie. two four-hour retail shifts in a row, featuring walking, extended standing and light lifting) theyll start to give out whenever I put weight on them, leaving me unable to walk for weeks. I have actually changed my entire career over this. On the recommendation of the woman at our local Alternative Market, I now take these pills with some curcumin (thats the main anti-inflammatory in turmeric, but I could probably just have the spice instead if I could stand the taste). Within two days, I no longer felt pain. I could feel weakness in some of my joints, but for the first time in years, nothing hurt. Ive just finished my first bottle, and looking back, even the weakness is gone now. I walked ten miles with my fiancee last week, albeit punctuated by frequent sitting breaks. About 2/3 of the way through, I felt some mild pain flaring up in my knees, and in ten minutes of rest I was ready to get back up and keep going. Got home, went to bed, woke up, I could still walk just fine. Starting my second bottle now-- no more pain, and now the weakness is gone too. Its AMAZING the difference this makes! I havent tried it by itself, but man, if it doesnt seem to be doing enough by itself then try it with some curcumin or turmeric!

These fruit bioflavonoids work very well for inflammation as well as to help block histamines during the allergy season. If you suffer from dust or pollen in the air seasonally as I do, by this and try it out take a couple in the morning take a couple in the late afternoon before bed, preferably on a empty stomach, And see what happens… Its nice not to have to take Sudafed Claritin and all the other steroids nasal sprays, etc. etc. when there are natural products which for most people may suffice. Its nice to be alert without a drug the toddler overly exciting you, or putting you to sleep for your allergies. Try this product buy this product. I actually bought this for my pup! After doing a little research to find out what I could give him for the itching, scratching & chewing (he has allergies to grass) I came across several articles that said quercetin was an all natural anti-inflammatory & with bromelain it would be more effective, so I looked for some specifically for dogs and I couldnt find one that didnt cost an arm & a leg or a small bottle that barley lasted a month. So I went and googled the best brand & this one came up, went out on a limb and bought it... Hes about 70lbs so I give him 2 pills and day and it has help tremendously! He does still have some scratching but NO where near what it was! He FINALLY has some relief with out costing me a fortune and with out all those harmful drugs, praise the Lord! I have told and recommended this to several people.
