NOW Supplements, Quercetin with Bromelain, Balanced Immune System*, 120 Veg Capsules

Quercetin has so many benefits that I have been taking it on and off for years. I feel healthier and younger now than I did twenty years ago, do not have any aches and pains and am down to my high school weight. I do believe quercetin and bromelain are part of decreasing my allergies to the point I dont need to take my inhaler or any other allergy meds. Will continue taking quercetin and this brand is one of my go-to brands.

Great product...but too bad its doubled in price. One has to wonder if they are taking advantage on the demand.

I suspect I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome - I have chronic hives, migraines, runny nose, anxiety/jitters, brain fog, etc. I received this on 1/14/20. I took 2 capsules twice daily. Didnt seem to have much affect, or if it did, seemed to wear off by midday. On 1/17/20 in midday, the wearing off was very apparent, as I was having caffeine buzz like jitters. I took 25mg Benadryl and it was resolved. The next day I experienced the same wearing off jitters at the same time of day. I decided to try an extra dose of quercetin (2 caps) instead of Benadryl. The quercetin had the same effect as the Benadryl without the drowsiness!! At least for a good 2 hours (as opposed to a good 4 hours with Benadryl) I did read on another quercetin manufacturers site that this may require a loading dose, meaning you have to take a lot of it at first, for up to 10 days. I have increased my dosage to 3 times/day. I may even do 4 times/day if it seems like I need it. But so far I consider this stuff gold and I will keep taking it, mainly because I have noticed a great improvement in the anxiety symptoms. I say that with quotes because it is clear this is purely physical for me, not psychological. I have very little stress in my life.

I thought I was having a placebo effect after the `1st dose but no. I have shoulder and knee pain daily but 24 to 48 hours after taking this supplement, I have NO PAIN! OMG! And the fog brain is gone! Right in the nick of time because I have returned back to university!!! Just bought 2 more bottles. Read all of the evidence-based research on it. Gave some to my son just to see if it helped with his back pain...OMG (again), it worked ( I didnt tell him what it was for).

I started taking Quercertin with Bromelain for 14 months now after having one of the worse years of my life in terms of sickness. I have been a life-long allergy and asthma sufferer and have tried every possible medication available. I began allergy shots approximately 6 years ago and they have helped quite a bit. However, it seemed that after reaching the maintenance level, my body would develop new allergens and my symptoms would start to flare-up all over again. In 2010, after three sinus infections, numerous colds, ear infection that caused eustachian tube disorder and the production of never-ending-mucus, I was desperate. I began to look for herbal alternatives to my Alavert, Nasonex, Xyzal, Albuterol etc. This is when I read some reviews on this and I decided to try it. I can honestly say that it seemed it took over 3 months for me to see results. There were subtle at first... such as the production of less mucus in the morning or a decrease in the sneezing when faced with common allergens. I continued to use it and was disappointed when I got sick in the fourth month, as this is supposed to help with the immune system. My sickness only lasted 24 hours and that was last February. During the rest of the year, I was DRY, healthy and can count with one hand the number of sneezes for that year. I have not used ANY of my prescription medicines in over 7 months. My husband who has always being weary of herbal alternatives is ready to start taking it because he has seen the incredible change, especially at night when I dont make any noises anymore. I have been without Quercertin for over 3 weeks now as it seems it was out of stock when I ordered it in December. I was able to re-order and Im expecting it this week. The reason Im writing this is that yesterday I began to feel sick with a runny nose and sneezing...not a cold but an allergy flare-up. Now I know that if I had been taking this stuff, this would not have happened. I am sold on Quercertin and I wanted to share but it has really changed my life. I continue my allergy shots and the Quercertin and that is all I take. Im the healthy one in the family now!!

The price was right for something I needed.

My body had so much inflammation that I was constantly in pain. I wanted something natural because NSADs was causing me many side effects. So I researched natural pain relievers and anti-inflammatorys and these 2 ingredients came up a lot. So I heard that NOW brand was a good brand so I bought them. I am so glad that I did! My pain has gone down so much that I barely notice and its only been a week that I have been on these. My joints use to hurt so much especially my hip joints that I could hardly walk at times without a cane. I also had a inflamed colon with a lot of mucus in my stools. Now my joint pain is hardly noticeable and I dont see any mucus in my stools. I dont know if other brands work as well but I do know that these do work. I have also noticed that my seasonal allergies has tamed down a lot. I am hoping that they will completely go away the longer I take these. I take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening for now and will probably go down to just 2 day when symptoms are completely gone. This is a real and honest review.

I’ve been taking these as directed to help with my allergies and inflammation for nearly two months now. I heard positive things about quercetin, and this supplement was rated highly based on reviews. I cannot say for sure that there is not an effect, but I still need to make sure to take my allergy medicines (Benadryl and Claritin daily), and I still get hives. I don’t feel less itchy, either. I cannot say for certain whether this product has quercetin in it, since supplements are not regulated by the government, so it could be this product rather than my lack of response. The data on quercetin seems pretty good, so I would expect at least some results with the amount the tub suggests per day. Positive things, though: capsules are vegan, so no gelatin taste or gi upset from that! Additionally, there doesn’t seem to be any artificial colors to the tabs, which is great for preventing for allergic responses! I may keep taking this, at least until my tub is done, and see if I notice anything if I stop! I’ll update if there is anything else significant to add!
