> 24 hourI needed a new main board after being an idiot and touching the Positive and Negative Blower fan wires together by accident. This blew the tiny fuse soldered to the main board and made my fans inoperable. After doing some research I found that after installing it, all you need to do is load the correct firmware onto the Micro SDcard you got with the printer, put it into the printer, and turn it on. Itll automatically start the firmware update and after its done your Printer should be back to normal. (Keep in mind that if you have a base Ender 3 this will just work right out of the box because the Ender 3 firmware is pre-installed.) If you actually need to swap out your board I HIGHLY recommend you take pictures of every connector and make sure you get them all back in the correct order, especially the power delivery wires. Other than that this worked great to fix my dumb mistake.

> 24 hourI bought this board to replace on my ender 3 the 4.2.2 board was very loud and installation was easy. I first used it I had to keep looking at my printer because its so quite while it running. I think this is amust have if you have an older board.

> 24 hourWish I wouldve changed this a long time ago. I do agree it does also seem to actually print better quality than stock board (after calibrating, etc). Super quiet! Wife and kids no longer complain about that noisy printer!

> 24 hourI thought it was an improvement, until I started to print with PETG. PETG is not meant to be squished, but placed on the surface. The corners of the bed are lower than the center of the glass. If I level the bed from the corners, then the center is too high and the nozzle drags on the glass. But if I lower the bed enough so the nozzle clears the center, then the material wont lay on the edges of the glass at all. I have had very few successful prints with this bed. I plan on buying a replacement that is not glass.

> 24 hourRemarkably quieter than the stock v1.x boards. Very easy to install, just make notes of what goes where before diving in.

> 24 hourAfter I swapped out my old board for this one, the only loud noises that I could hear came from my fans. A fan/shroud upgrade and psu fan cover should help with that. Anyways, the sounds that come from moving the bed and extruder pretty much dont exist anymore.

> 24 hourMy 4.2.2 board wasnt silent and I was upgrading the screen anyways, so I went and bought this. It works, all of the 4.2.2 plugs go right into it exactly the same. Finding firmware can be a bit tough, but thats not a fault of the board itself

> 24 hourI got 2 - Ender 3 and they both came with the 4.2.2 boards. I went to install the BLTouch and I think I fried the board as it is really easy to put adaptor in wrong (turns out I didnt need it - I got the wrong BLTouch, but that was my fault!) So, I got this board and wow, is the printer quiet now! BLTouch just plugs in (If you get correct one!) Works great.
