> 3 dayFirst EASY to install. When they say silent it is silent, all you hear are the fans. My Ender 3 Pro was not noisy to begin with and this upgrade made it 100% silent except for fan noise. For the Ender 3 Pro it is plug and play. All I did was install it and was printing in no time. Seems a little faster and if you are considering the touch screen upgrade or the auto leveler it is a must. Heats up the nozzle and bed faster too.

> 3 dayI got this because my stock Ender 3 board failed. Easy to install, truly plug and play, no firmware to install. When I turned it on, I was shocked at how quiet it was. No sound except the fans. I wish I had changed it out earlier.

> 3 dayWithin a week of installation the thermistor connection on this board burnt and caused an unprotected thermal runaway

> 3 dayEasy installation, very quiet operation, but after 10 months the motherboard burned out. I probably got unlucky and got a defective board. It wouldnt be an issue if I could get a replacement, but I dont know how to contact customer service...

> 3 dayGot this because my stock Ender 3 motherboard didnt survive a series of bad decisions on my part. Shouldve upgraded a long time ago; this thing is a different printer with the new board in it. The upgraded stepper drivers are essentially silent (like, aside from fan noise you cant even tell the printer is going silent) and dont seem to make the odd Moire patterns (concentric circles/stripes) that Id occasionally get on curved surfaces with the old board, which immediately improved my prints. Other miscellaneous cool stuff: - Socket on the board for an automatic bed-leveling system, which will probably be my next major upgrade - Extra blower connection for a 2-blower hotend setup, should you decide thats something you want - Ships with a bootloader installed if youre the type that likes to mess with firmware (youll have to if youre putting this on anything but an Ender 3 Pro) - Replaced the ancient USB mini socket on the stock board with a much more common USB micro socket, which youre much more likely to have a cable lying around for Install was basically a matter of moving all the connections over (getting into the mainboard box on the Ender 3 is a hassle, but I cant blame the board for that); the sockets and terminal blocks are all in the same place (with a couple of clearly-labeled exceptions) so its pretty hard to screw up. Im taking a star off easy to install because it shipped without instructions or documentation of any kind, but if youre upgrading the mainboard in your 3D printer youre probably technically-skilled enough to not need any (if not, I think Creality has documentation on their website).

> 3 dayI bought 3 of these and only one of them worked. Installation was relatively easy with the aid of the Teaching Tech Youtube Channel and firmware site.

> 3 dayWhen you plug in USB there is no option to turn off power over USB, so it will power on your printer. There is no hot end fan control, so when you power up your Creality Ender 3 Pro, the hot end fans are running even though you have nothing printing which makes no sense. You are better off getting the SKR Mini e3 board which has silent stepper motors, power over USB is an option, and has fan control (fans are not running when you power on and are not printing).

Greater than one weekFirmware NOT INSTALLED AS SPECIFIED. If you’re not a programmer-you’ll be doing a lot of Google searching and You Tube watching. Update: -Obviously in a better mood now- Well, since quarantine I’ve not only learned Fusion 360 and Cura, but now I’ve got a basic understanding of Microsoft Visual Studio and Marlin 2.0. When I got the board, it had Marlin 1.0 installed and was not compatible with my stock Ender 3 Pro. This board is now working very well. Plenty of room for firmware options. (I was surprised). And oh yes, your stock stepper motors will be silent. Seriously, you only hear the fans now! (I wasn’t looking to do this-I enjoyed the steppers singing to me! It was very easy to know when the print was complete.
