Official Creality New Upgrade Motherboard Silent Mainboard V4.2.7 for Ender 3 Customized and Non-Standard Matching,Ender 3 Silent Mother Board

First one I was sent was a used 4.2.2 board. When they silent, they werent kidding.

I literally tried all day to print with this board. Its not the firmware it says. Its not 4.2.7. Its a 4.2.2. It literally destroyed prints all day. The only thing it did was quietly destroy prints. Id rather deal with the noise than to babysit a fire hazard

I bought this board, because it was supposed to be the silent version, and it was also supposed to have the Marlin 2.x firmware already installed. Well.... it is silent! and I am sitting here listening to just the fan noise now instead of the stepper motors, which is fantastic! But!, this has Marlin 1.0.1 firmware.... not the 2.x firmware as advertised. Beware! Now I have to f@$k around with updating it to 2.x.... exactly what I didnt want to do, and what I supposedly already paid for, otherwise, Id rate it 5 stars.

After hours of trying to update the firmware I realized I hasnt having any success because the bootloader was not installed as described. Tried both .bin files via the SD card and .hex files via direct USB connection. Both update methods worked no problem on my old board but not this one. Quite a bummer as this was supposed to an upgrade over my old board so that I could use the CR touch probe. But, with no bootloader to add the touch firmware, this thing is no better then my old board.

Wow, unbelievable how quiet the printer is now.

So, I was skeptical about the silent part of this. Yeah, whatever, my stock printer was quiet-ish. It wasnt annoying or anything, but OMG I was dumbfounded at how LITERALLY SILENT it is now. Like if it had a heart, Id check it for a pulse. The ONLY noise it makes is when it is auto leveling to find the Z stop. The only negative things Ill say, but I wont ding with a star is that it was a bit of a pain to find the exact setup I have (Ender3 Pro w/ BL Touch) firmware wasnt available from Reality, so I had to find one elsewhere. But honestly, this was the BEST upgrade I have done to my printer. <3 Thanks!!!!!!

If I knew it was this quiet I’d bought years ago. Highly recommend. Also you need to flash the firmware. It’s not plug and play.

Best upgrade Ive done so far oh so Im really curious as to how much better that big tree tech one is.

Ender3 is almost totally silent all you can hear is the fans definitely worth the upgrade night and day difference highly recommend
