Official Creality New Upgrade Motherboard Silent Mainboard V4.2.7 for Ender 3 Customized and Non-Standard Matching,Ender 3 Silent Mother Board

When you plug in USB there is no option to turn off power over USB, so it will power on your printer. There is no hot end fan control, so when you power up your Creality Ender 3 Pro, the hot end fans are running even though you have nothing printing which makes no sense. You are better off getting the SKR Mini e3 board which has silent stepper motors, power over USB is an option, and has fan control (fans are not running when you power on and are not printing).

So for those with ender pro v2. Yes ours is a newer motherboard. But it doesnt do the silent printing. My ender pro 3v2 motherboard died in 2 months. Their warranty through China was pretty much worthless. At least we can buy their parts via Amazon.

Loudest part of the printer now is the fans, its great.

Burnt out and smoked soon as power was applied

It was advertised that the latest version of Marlin was pre-installed v2.0.1, this was the main reason I purchased, It came with v1.0.1. I would rate zero stars if I could.

I had been fighting a progressively worsening layer shift in one axis. I tried adjusting belt tension, bed screws, rollers, and everything else I found in the tutorials. Nothing worked. Finally saw a mention that the motherboard can overheat and slowly degrade. After a few tests I realized this was my issue. I replaced the motherboard with this one, my print quality has greatly improved. Motherboard runs much cooler than the original. An added bonus is a quieter printer! Highly recommended, especially if you have layer shifting caused by an overheating.

My ender3 was pretty loud even when having it in the garage. I could hear the noise at night. after apgrading to this board the noise was gone and work great so far.

I havent been printing long enough to give an accurate passement on print quality but I can say that my calicat printed phenomenal with this mobo. If youre like me, the noise reduction alone is worth this upgrade, everything else is a bonus. On the Ender 3 Pro, the screen menu is slightly reorganized but the labels are easy to find what you are looking for. Best of all the printing is completely silent except for the fans. If you were to get some quieter fans you couldnt even tell it was printing. The install was easy, i labeled the plugs that were unlabeled prior to swapping and for the wired connections i went wire by wire from one board to the next. If you ever build a computer or upgraded components this is cake, if not just watch a video for a basics of getting to everything and its really straightforward. Overall I am very happy with the mobo and no complaints thus far. It was plug and play with the Ender 3 Pro firmware preinstalled.

Not sure what warmth is for, but this makes my Ender 3 quiet as all get out! I can only hear the fans now and it’s amazing!
