> 3 dayA bit heavy but durable. The suspension allows for carrying a lot of weight comfortably. Even if you eventually go ultralight, having a bag capable of comfortably carrying luxuries or more gear for ill-equipped friends is a great option. Can’t go wrong having this bag in your closet.

> 3 dayPicked this up for a backpacking trip. First time backpacking. Carried about 30-35lbs using the 65L pack over about 25 miles of ground. Pack is absolutely top shelf all the way. Great pocket placement. Intuitive design. Loved the mesh back to keep your back cool. Nothing put praise for this pack. The people I traveled with, all seasoned and salty hikers, had heard of Osprey but never used their stuff. They were also impressed. I would pick up the extra Osprey rain cover for this. It takes up no space, weighs nothing, and totally covers the pack. Its not very expensive, and well worth the addition.

> 3 dayI come from the era of frame packs. They never fit me well as I am narrow and have scoliosis. I ended up through the years using day packs and a Duluth pack. This is a massive step up for me in comfort and design. It is all the pack Id ever want to carry. What I like the most is how adjustable this pack is for a proper fit. Even those of us who are asymmetrical can get an excellent functional fit. This pack requires a close examination of all its compartments. As a long time Duluth packer, I am used to one big space. This is a refined and compartmentalized pack and youll get the most use from it if you use each section to its best purpose for you. I love how well made this pack is and how smart the kinetic engineering. Ive never carried a load so comfortably. This is the last pack Ill ever need. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayPerfect and comfortable for backpacking, can fit loads of stuff. In terms of flying to a destination, the frame is a little large, and does not fit in most overhead compartments in a plane. However, I would not trust this bag in a checked hold, as it has lots of straps that could get caught on something and broken by airport staff.

03-06-2025I love this pack, packed out for a 3 days John Muir Trail Trip. Worked great in subfreezing weathers, kept everything dry. Sturdy. Plenty of pockets with room to spare. The suspension system was good on the back. Has a water bladder pocket. Im a short guy, adjustable for any height.
