> 3 dayBest pack Ive ever owned and Ive been backpacking for 41 years. Not an ultralight pack but certainly considered a light pack. Great storage. Purchased the Osprey 3L water bladder separately. The anti-gravity system AG provides an exceptional fit. I have the large which is 70L. I downsized from a 95L pack to bring less stuff and shave weight. Im 62 and weigh 205 lbs. I expect to use this pack for the next 5 years. Enjoy!

> 3 dayWell-built pack. I know several people who use this for extended hikes and group overnights, so I know the capabilities and durability of the Osprey brand. What is super-nice about this specific one —- it comes with a rain fly. The AG system is the absolute bomb. I will NEVER have a pack without the AG system. I haven’t been on a hike with this one yet, but I have used it for personal travel and it is unbelievably comfortable and roomy. I’ve “pre-packed” for a hike, and this holds my ORC 1-man tent, sleep bag, cook gear, food, clothing, bear bag, and survival equip all within the bag itself. The only thing attached to the outside of the bag is a camp chair, hatchet, and trek poles. Buy this bag... you can’t go wrong.

> 3 dayThis is my first legitimate hiking pack. This bag is simply amazing and fits like a glove. It takes a little learning on how to pack it properly so you can make room for everything. I have the north face furnace 20 degree sleeping bag and it fits snug into the sleeping bag compartment.

> 3 dayCmon guys, weve all seen it. The yoga pants girl on the trail swinging her arms back and forth only carrying a water bottle talking about how warm it is....then the sweaty guy wheezing behind her trying to keep up as hes weighed down with all the gear in the backpack...which is 80% her stuff that probably wont even be used the entire time you are hiking...Thats me, Im the sweaty guy. So youd better believe Im going to spend whatever I have to on a pack that makes my pack mule job bearable. This may be overkill for a normal day hiker that only puts on about 10-20 miles a hike. My last backpack was made for going to school rather than hiking. It sat flat against my back so no air could get in there which made for a pretty gross situation. Every time we took a break and I took it off I dreaded the soggy wet thing getting placed back on me. This pack is much better in that way. It has a nice breathable mesh in the back that allows a pretty decent air flow. My biggest worry now is that with the extra room in this pack my wife might find more useless crap for me to haul around....
