> 3 dayI was very nervous spending this amount of money on a pack, since I had only used entry level equipment before. I could never go back after using this backpack. Material quality, comfort, and reliability are all outstanding.

> 3 dayThis is an extremely customizable bag. You can really get it to sit exactly how you want it to on your body. Well constructed. Definitely one of the best bags Ive seen in this price range.

> 3 dayI bought it as a gift. But when I received the package it was too big and heavy. And I can not put it in my luggage. Also, in the description it mentioned that it is light but honestly it was not.

> 3 dayPerfect and comfortable for backpacking, can fit loads of stuff. In terms of flying to a destination, the frame is a little large, and does not fit in most overhead compartments in a plane. However, I would not trust this bag in a checked hold, as it has lots of straps that could get caught on something and broken by airport staff.

> 3 dayWell-built pack. I know several people who use this for extended hikes and group overnights, so I know the capabilities and durability of the Osprey brand. What is super-nice about this specific one —- it comes with a rain fly. The AG system is the absolute bomb. I will NEVER have a pack without the AG system. I haven’t been on a hike with this one yet, but I have used it for personal travel and it is unbelievably comfortable and roomy. I’ve “pre-packed” for a hike, and this holds my ORC 1-man tent, sleep bag, cook gear, food, clothing, bear bag, and survival equip all within the bag itself. The only thing attached to the outside of the bag is a camp chair, hatchet, and trek poles. Buy this bag... you can’t go wrong.

> 3 dayI use this backpack almost every weekend for many miles of hiking and climbing approaches. It can easily fit multiple climbing ropes, all my gear, food, water, and supplies. The many pockets make it easy to get some organization going and easily pull out specific things later on. The straps are the best in the business, and make a 60 lb load a lot more bearable. It has taken some minor external rips on the outside which I fixed with duct tape. Everything else like straps and zippers have virtually no damage even after scraping against countless rocks and trees. Given the amount of punishment this backpack has endured, Im pretty sure I can expect at least 5-10 years of solid use.

> 3 dayFinished the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim with absolutely no back pain thanks to the Osprey Atmos 65 and Leki poles. I did end up leaving my tent and rain gear behind, but still had about almost 30lbs fully loaded with food and water. Now I’m looking at the Atmos 50 for quicker/faster hikes. The 65 ended up having a ton of extra room despite leaving the removable top part..
