> 3 dayThis fit my needs for a small pack to hold water bottles, cell phone, keys and small first aid items while mountain biking and light hiking. It is a sturdy and well made pack. I especially like the water bottle holders as they are sturdy but also fold down if you are not carrying bottles. This makes the pack smaller overall when not carrying bottles.

> 3 dayIve been looking for an everyday waist pack to carry two water bottles (for my kids) and some essentials when packing my cargo shorts just isnt enough. I remember long ago when I had a great Ultimate Direction waist pack that was super functional and comfortable and have been looking a long time for something similar. I almost purchased the Osprey Talon or Tempest as they most resembled my old Ultimate Direction pack. However, Im glad I waited and discovered the Savu. The Savu is sleek and functional for what I want. The water bottle holder areas can flatten down when not in use to make it more sleek and attractive. The main pocket is spacious enough to hold 2 ipad minis and a bit more. I suppose the Talon/Tempest has more padding which may make it better for hiking or trail running, but I love my Savu. It even looks a lot better than other fanny packs when slung diagonally over your torso.

> 3 dayI liked the fact that it could hold 2 water bottles and keep the weight off of my back. On my first ride the straps continually needed to be tightened and then, on a decent, came completely off. The clips that close the belt came unclipped and everything hit the trail. Very disappointed in the product!

> 3 dayI found my backpack to be bothering in MTB rides especially when wanting to bunny hop and on the rough patches so I switched to this fanny pack. Enough storage for the short to medium rides without the weight on the back, also allot more ventilated in the summer! Whoever complained about the bottles falling out didnt notice that there are tictacs that you need to close in order for the water bottles to fit snug... Very happy!

Greater than one weekI bought this with intent to ride chunky trails and jumps, and oh boy does this thing feel great! It feels way better than my last backpack and feels great nearer to my center of gravity. Even though this thing looks small, it actually holds a ton of gear! Would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of downsizing.

Greater than one weekwhen fully loaded with additional two bottles of 750mL, the Savu become a little bit uncomfortable. a reduction of the water capacity to two bottles of 600mL yield almost the best setup.

> 3 dayThis is the first and only fanny pack Ill ever own. Storage capacity is fantastic and the price is right for what it is... Dont throw $80 - $100 at your local bike shop or some hot shot brand name for the same product!

Greater than one weekAt this asking price, it better be a great waist pack, but in my opinion, it is. You can store a surprising amount of stuff in this waist pack. The strap is wide and can fit just about anyone, with enough support that I barely feel it even if Im using it when jogging or on a day hike. I mainly include some dense food, a couple of bottles of water in the holsters included, spare socks, a basic multitool and first aid pouch, and the ever present cell-phone (turned off!). I could store a few maps, some geocache stuff, and a rolled up light jacket too if I wanted. This pack looks beautiful in red, with the typical light but strong material Osprey usually uses. Construction and design quality are also clear in the airscape and vented pads around where the bottles go, and also in the very easy to use zippers. I tend to rotate this out of place until I need it, and I even switch left to right every now and then, and in all positions, sweat doesnt really stay around that long. Its better if you primarily carry this on your lumbar, but I mix it up. A few tips: if youre packing lots of stuff on your hips, you want to minimize weight. Its OK to put a couple things in your cargo pockets, and the rest in this pack. Larger, light things like jackets are no problem on a hip. Too much water will be felt on those hips, but just two bottles is no problem. Also, make the unit snug and stable with a firm pull of the straps. If its not moving around, you are feeling less weight. Weight changing direction a lot, relative to the body, is actually more weight.
