Nice design, quiet, holds alot of cat food kibble. Timer works perfect, programming is intuitive BUT the AMOUNT function releases less than the amounts listed on the chart. My cat was put on a diet by my vet so her caloric intake was critical so I had to make some adjustments in order for her to get her amounts correct.

This is helping me not get driven insane by my overweight, food demanding cat. It is so easy to program. I did it once and it’s a breeze when I need to alter the portion sizes. I can set it to feed 4 separate meals through the day and also record myself telling them it’s mealtime. It works very well and I only regret not buying this sooner.

I wanted to get my kitten to eat smaller portions, multiple times a day, so she doesn’t gobble up all her food at once. I like how I can program different amounts to dispense up to 4 meals a day. Currently, I am feeding my 2 1/2month old kitten 4 meals of dry food and 1.5 oz can of wet food everyday. I have the dispenser set to, the smaller portion wheel, 2 servings 3x a day & 1 serving once a day! After measuring, I found that I am giving her almost 1/2 cup of dry food a day, plus she’s getting the 1.5 ounce can of wet food everyday. Please press the ‘Manuel’ button, to measure out the amount of servings you have it set to for the day; so you can assure you are feeding the correct amount. (Side note: I was giving my kitten one serving 4x a day, thinking it was a half cup of food... It was not the correct amount!). I had changed the round serving bin to the smaller portion and didn’t realize the serving size isn’t counted the same when you change it. SO, PLEASE MEASURE OUT YOUR CAT/KITTENS FOOD TO VERIFY THE CORRECT AMOUNT) If it’s not enough, increase the serving amount... ;-) **** I like that I will be able to adjust the amount/frequency as she grows**** The reason for 4/5 stars: I do not like that there’s not an option for the the voice recording to only sound once or turn off when you don’t want to hear it. The recording repeats 3 times, which is annoying.

Two issues for me and one of them is a big one. First, the tray is large for cat sized portions so my kitty ends up licking the food around the tray. There needs to be a backstop, like a little drop or ridge. Second, the top DOES NOT fully seal, which means food can get stale while waiting to dispense and ants can get in. And let me tell you, they do get in. For how expensive it is, it really ought to seal the food. Everything else about it is great, but having all the food I had in there get covered in ants... Thats too big a downside.

Works great! It was easy to program and dispenses accurately and right on time. Only minor complaint are the portion sizes, a little harder to figure out. My dog was scared of the dispensing noise so I took the tray out and replaced it with a mat.

Has plenty of room to put food in in for my two cats
