> 24 hourThe Perixx PERIPRO-401 PS2 to USB Adapter for Keyboard and Mouse with built-in USB Controller saved my older but favorite keyboard. I had upgraded my PC mother board and newer MBs dont use the old PS2 style plug. This adapter was a perfect solution. Very satisfied with this product.

> 24 hourI had 2 computers at work that are on a KVM. One computer got replaced and the new one didnt have standard PS2 ports like the KVM requires. I tried this and it worked for the keyboard but not the mouse. Now, we have to have 2 mice at the workstation.

> 24 hourWorks as intended to allow PS/2 keyboards and mice to connect to USB ports. I havent noticed any lag at all.

> 24 hourI have an old PS2 keyboard that I refuse to retire but an upgraded laptop / docking station at work no longer supported PS2. This worked perfectly, plug & play. Ive had an adapter like this before and this one seems more solidly built. I do a lot of Alt- and Ctrl- keyboard shortcuts and I havent experienced the problem mentioned in other reviews around simultaneous keypresses. I dont game with this, though, and that sounded like when the problem was most likely to occur. But my experience with this has been identical to when I had a native PS2 port.

> 24 hourI have an older KVM switch which attaches to either servers and it had the old style connections. This item allowed me to hook up to the newer servers without any problems. It was win win situation.

> 24 hourWorks great for what I want and it wont be unplugged and plugged again and again, however, the plastic of the ps2 plugs is already looking roughed up after about eight or ten cycles of being moved. As I said, in a mostly stationary application no prob (esp for the price) however if you plan of moving it a lot maybe not so tough...

> 24 houreasily use your PS/2 KB an mouse on laptops or any computer. TIPs: * First time plugging in to computer, do it without devices attached. Let the system load the drivers for the composite USB device. When done, unplug, attach your devices then replug to usb port. It will then find the drivers for mouse and keyboad attached. * If after steps above, both KB and mouse arent working, unplug - then plugin usb again

> 24 hourI have an old IBM style keyboard with loud keys from the early 90s that I successfully hooked up to a new laptop using this cable. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised that it worked with no issues. I havent dug up an old PS/2 mouse yet, but Ill have to try that at some point.

> 24 hourIm a tech writer and use IBM Model 50 keyboards exclusively. The Model 50s use PS/2 connectors, which are becoming increasingly rare on modern computers. Enter the Perixx PS2 to USB adapter. These things work great. You plug the PS/2 connector into the keyboard cable, then plug the USB plug into the PC and youre on the air. Ive used them with several different desktops, workstations, and laptops and have had no problems with them. They work every time. Highly recommended.
