> 3 dayI work with many computers and this USB to PS/2 adapter has come in handy many times, so much that I have purchased multiple units. So far this unit has worked in every new PC I needed to add to PS/2 based KVMs. Interestingly enough, while this dongle also works to allow PCs to boot headless through a BIOS that does not have an option to skip keyboard errors on POST, I found that it allowed a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 motherboard to boot with a brand new Corsair Gaming K70 RGB MK.2 keyboard that can only be plugged into a USB 3 port. Just having this adapter plugged into a regular USB port allowed the PC to boot past the POST screen into Windows 10, where the OS loaded the keyboard drivers to recognize the keyboard and allow one to log on and use it normally. Worth the $6 to use new keyboard on old system.

> 3 dayPurchased about a month ago.I spent quite a bit of time searching for a PS/USB adapter for my old H.P. keyboard to no avail ( if you dont count those priced at over fifty dollars or more).I literally came across this one as the last one on the Amazon website. I didnt expect much for $6.99, but desperate, I purchased it. What a great buy! Plugged it into my Dell computer, was recognized within 10 seconds. Plugged in the keyboard to the adapter and everything works as advertised.

> 3 dayIf you are using your keyboard for just typing and data entering type things, it works great. If you are using your keyboard for gaming things, then it works horribly. When gaming it seems to lose connection or reset. Example, using a key like w key to move forward, it will stop working and have to repress the key to have it work. And that happens every 5-15 seconds. Sooo less than ideal to say the least. But if you are typing something such as this, then that reset has no effect, since im not holding a key down for longer than a second. Anyway, just some info.

Greater than one weekNot much to say. It worked to connect a keyboard with a PS/2 connector to a USB socket on the motherboard.

> 3 dayThese PS2 / USB adapters are hit or miss, no matter which brand you buy. This Perixx model is no exception - it worked on a Lenovo mini PC but had issues on an older Gigabyte motherboard with a single PS2 port that accepts either mouse OR keyboard. (I had a PS2-only KVM set up on a test bench). I am not putting fault completely with the adapter, but let this be a buyer beware warning.

> 3 dayThe cable worked fine connecting a PS/2 mouse and keyboard directly to the computers USB port. However when I tried to use it with a PS/2 KVM switch connecting 2 computers it had issues. One of the computers was connected to the switch via a different manufacturers PS/2-USB converter and I connected a second computer to the switch with this cable. Not sure if the problem was this cable being incompatible with the other cable or if the problem was the cable with the KVM switch. Gave it 3 stars since the cable did work fine by itself but I bought it because it claimed to work with KVM switches.

> 3 dayI can only type well on my old Dell keyboard because the keys are set higher. When I got a new laptop, I had to come up with a USB keyboard. Those keyboards are hard to use when you are a fast typist as fingers slide off the keys. I really wanted to keep my old keyboard, so I ordered this adapter. Works great! Im back to typing like the wind.

> 3 dayThis converter has worked flawlessly for my various IBM model M keyboards (rubber dome 07H0665, buckling spring 42H1292). Of note: It also works with my vintage IBM mouse (P/N 28L1864). I have also successfully used it with two different Dell QuietKey keyboards. I dont know a ton about this stuff, however if your model M is a terminal board, it will probably not work (mine didnt work despite previously being modded to PS/2); thats what the Soarers converter is for.

Greater than one weekI was expecting to buy something a little more rigid but i am glad i got these as the flexibility comes in handy when moving old keyboard and old mice. It does the trick!

> 3 dayThe first one just did not work. It was quickly replaced and Ive been using it to connect my very old and well loved serial keyboard to my new USB only computer for about two years now.
