I have an older KVM switch which attaches to either servers and it had the old style connections. This item allowed me to hook up to the newer servers without any problems. It was win win situation.

Had no issues with this adapter, worked as advertised. Connected the adapter to my old Logistech PS2 cordless keyboard and mouse then to the USB port on my computer and everything worked fine on 1st try. I like the fact that I could connect two PS2 devices to the adapter utilizing only one USB port on the computer. The quality of the adapter appears to be well made and sturdy. When compared to the cost and hassle of having to purchase two individual adapters to used both my PS2 keyboard and mouse, I found the price for this adapter very favorable. I would both recommend and purchase again.

OH BOY, was I glad to see this little object in the mail! Now I have my old keyboard attached to my newer desktop! More recent economic style keyboard, too small, keys offset, makes me crazy. Able to resurrect my old keyboard with this inexpensive adapter, color worn keys, matters not, when I got that old keyboard set up and on it, I was HOME. The tactile notion is coming back and surely matters to me. I type very fast, pound it and must as I write for publication in an official capacity for my work. Throw that old keyboard as far as I can H-P. Suggest you stay with your old product tool and dye or whatever crafts keyboards.

My husband wanted this for his keyboard that doesn’t have a ps/2 port, on his new motherboard. The device feels like it’s nice quality but it fails when the button is being held down for some time (for gaming) it stops working and he has to repress the button. Can be horrible for gaming but good for someone else who just likes the feel of an older keyboard.

Works exactly as expected, and my ancient Northgate keyboard, already adapted for a PS/2 connection, lives again, now thru USB. I’m a happy camper.

Mom finally decided she was willing to try the awesome and spend split hand ergonomic keyboard I gave her for Christmas more than a few years ago. (I live mine!) Since then, computers have advanced to the era of the USB -- but the brand new keyboard sports a PS/2 connection. Argh! After calling all of the local stores, I finally ordered this gem of an adapter. It works perfectly and that brand new keyboard was up and running in seconds. Quality USB to PS/2 adapters arent that easy to find. Consider ordering two of these if you work with outdated equipment.

I tried 3 others from Amazon, some that people said would work, and they all failed. This was my 4th try and this one works. Its the only one I have found so far that will work on my keyboard. I have a blue cube I bought about 5-6 years ago and it still works, but my son wanted the same keyboard for his computer. I didnt know the blue cube was extinct. Others said they would work but they did not - this one did.

I am pretty satisfied with this adapter. I already have an adapter that sees regular use, but needed another one to increase my options. With this adapter, I can have two computers working at the same time. With this adapter, I can use my favorite old keyboard and/or mouse and swap them out on the go without restarting the computer. This adapter wont get everyday use, but is very handy when more options are needed to accomplish a goal. The price is reasonable and the adapter is rugged enough to last for years and years.

If you are using your keyboard for just typing and data entering type things, it works great. If you are using your keyboard for gaming things, then it works horribly. When gaming it seems to lose connection or reset. Example, using a key like w key to move forward, it will stop working and have to repress the key to have it work. And that happens every 5-15 seconds. Sooo less than ideal to say the least. But if you are typing something such as this, then that reset has no effect, since im not holding a key down for longer than a second. Anyway, just some info.

Tried other devices that failed. This conversion device functions as stated.
